WOW - a kind of free museum combo gallery which offer art but doesn't sell it...only a private foundation could do this and the result is serious fun and wonderful. Truly awesome - an eyeopener. We did the Brazil show and had the tour... very fine work, moving, captivating, very well presented. The guides want us to experience and interact. This is goo for art and for us!

We visited DHC/ART during the Yinka Shonibare display, "Pieces de Resistance." We loved the entire display with its vivid colors and imagery. The museum space is very beautiful and spacious so each theme was given its own area. We enjoyed the opportunity to focus on one piece at a time. It's remarkable that the museum is free; it is well worth a visit.

Small gallery with contemporary art in Old Montreal. A little bit off the beaten track but worth a quick drop in to check out something new.

Small but cool museum! Great modern art that will keep you busy for an hour or two. There are video and other insulations on several floors.

I'm not sure this venue should be listed under shopping. It should be under attractions. Viewing the art show highlighting the work of the Chapman brothers from the UK was one of the best experiences we had on our trip to Montreal.

An all around wonderful art experience in Old Montreal.Admission is free, exhibits are beautifully hung, with informative and educational events based on the exhibits. Check dates of new exhibit and times carefully. Staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Definitely a don`t miss!!

Montreal's answer to world class edgy art exhibitions and installations. . Housed in an impressive historical building in the quaint area of Old Montreal. And it's free.

It's a gallery in the old montreal that features interesting contemporary art, I especially liked the Ceal Floyer's exhibition. It's a lilttle hard to find tho, I always get lost trying to find the spot. But the place, the two exhibition areas, the staff, everything is impeccable. Oh and its free !!

International contemporary art at its best, nice architecture, and charming bilingual personnel eager to share their passion and knowledge. And admission if free! One of the two artistic must in Old Montreal, the other being the Musée Pointe-à-Callières just a few blocks away.

A friend recommended that I check out DHC and I saw some incredible exhibitions. Also, the interior of the larger gallery area is a beautiful modern design worth seeing in and of itseld (there are two gallery areas next door to each other).
