We walked in on one of the weekends and the place was packed full. We were lucky to get a room walking in without reservations but the staff was accommodating to give us a room after a short wait.
Fun place to go with friends and family, very nice and clean, great selection of songs!!

You can say all you want about this place, but it stood the test of time and it is "One of the best venues" to come in groups for Karaoke.

Don't expect much there, it's just beer and shots and some cocktails on the Menu.
It's loud noisy and a lot of fun if you can handle it :)

Fill up a piece of paper with your song of choice and off you go to sing in front of a crowd that just want to have fun! After all it's Karaoke ! and You'll be on the TV screens reflected by mirrors

You will hear some great singers too and that's that.

It's a good place to meet your friends, have a drink (outside) in the summer, or inside around 9pm. Karaoke kicks off from 23:00 kind of late, but best is to arrive early, sing early and move on to neighbouring clubs if you're into that.

Brought the work team here and we had a great time! From outside you'd never know that this is a karaoke bar. It's like our best unkept secret now! ;)

The place was full when we arrived so I suggest calling ahead especially if you have a bigger group.

Clean overall and the mics worked pretty well the entire time. Two TVs in the room so we could all sing along and we didn't hear the people next door unless our door was open.

The owner and the younger manager were super helpful in organizing the reservation and all our requests for drinks, separate checks, etc while there.

I took 2 stars off for the following reasons:
    1. There was a weird smell overall and the rooms are a bit small, but it's manageable.
    2. Didn't have a lot of the songs I really consider staples for a karaoke bar. Again, it's manageable, but still an update would be nice.
    3. No food available on the night we went (although the manager did tell us that if we wanted to order delivery to the place we could). A bunch of adults getting that one big night out away from responsibility only drinking without food to sop it up is just asking for trouble!

Overall we will be back! If you want a friendly place close to but still apart from that craziness that is Crescent, this is a cool place to come and just let loose (in front of people you know...in the confines of a safe space;)!

Nearby Laurier metro station, that karaoke/sport bar is not to be mist!
You can sing your favorite song, play pool and meet some 'locals'.
You'll see all kind of people in that crapy bar (hipster, bachelor party boys, old poeple, etc). It's really a unique experience, but it's not fancy at all!
You'll hear some Eric Lapointe, some Guns and Roses, some Edith Piaf back tot back... And you'll drink some cheap beers. But people go there to have fun so enjoy the ride

Hard to find. The entrance had construction materials so I didn't know if it was the place. As you walk in the entry was done well. One lone employee who never made a drink in his life was trying to serve cocktails to 20 people, was under-supplied, and was confused. (I would be to if I was 14 years old and serving drinks). We finally bought a bottle of booze and a pitcher of mix to make our own.

Our room looked like a VIP Room in a run down strip joint. The back row bench seating had duct tape over the rips in the vinyl. Many of our guest wanted Lysol wipes to kill what might be lurking on the surfaces.

The sound system was good and selection of songs was easy. A faster server would help with the searches.

Behind the touch screen, song selection electronics was a curtain to a toilet and sink. The door was off the wall preventing easy access. No soap to wash hands. The other bathrooms were down a dark hallway. NOBODY went to the bathroom alone.

Cost was $68 per hour, waived if our party of 20 hit a $450 bar bill. The speed in which the bartender poured drinks, we would have hit our minimum bar bill until Noon the next day.

Shame on the owner for making the, obviously overwhelmed, bartender be alone running the place. This is a safety risk for sure.

In the end we had a lot of fun, but we had to get used to the conditions and how the place worked. It has potential, but not until the renovate and hire good help.
