There is a lot of diverse stuff here, it seems that they are organized by vender, which are either very territorial or completely ignore you. While my husband and I were ready to leave a very large man blocked the door and pretty much accused me of shoplifting all because I decided to hold my purse in my hands as to not knock anything over, He first asked if I spoke French and then to see the inside of my purse. Absolutely humiliating! We were in there looking for chairs to go with our 18th century rosewood dinning room table, ready to spend up to $8 000. Never going in there again.

I was referred to Old Time Antiques by an Interior Designer friend of mine who was familiar with Montreal's 'Antique Alley' on Rue Notre-Dame Ouest.

I found the owner Pavol Pohancenik to be a wonderful source of information. Old Time Antiques encompasses two stores as well as a warehouse of curiosities. I saw wonderful 18th and 19th Century French furniture as well as turn of the century clocks.

Mr. Pohancenik, formerly from the Czech Republic certainly knows his stuff and his unique sales approach and knowledge of antiquities certainly make Old Time Antiques worth visiting again.

A wonderful treasure trove to explore! It's a small store that is packed to the brim with beautiful things for your home at Great prices. The owner is incredibly nice and funny. He knows something about every object in the store. Go! My only regret was that I didn't have my car so I could have purchased more.

I walked into Petit Musee and was amazed how huge it was-4 floors! They have antiques from all over the world. Everything from ancient egyptian pieces to european paintings, tables, vases.... and all pieces come with a certification of authenticity.
The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and is the third generation in the business. If you like museums this is a MUST see in Montreal.

We were here for the first snow of the season and found it very helpful to use the tunnels to get around to different areas of Montreal. Quite a few of the shops in the tunnels were closed on a Sunday but the main malls were bustling with shoppers. The public spaces were also nicely decorated for the holidays.

I loved, loved this store. The owners really put a lot of thought into the layout and display of the products they sell. They offer beautiful and unique new items as well as adorable kitschy vintage wares. I was so excited to see the adorable collection of vintage china figurines they had available for sale. I would love to see a place like this open in the states. Also the young sales lady that helped me was so nice and just added to our enjoyable visit to this spot.

Great small auction house near Ikea in Montreal. The offer an eclectic selection of items from a Meissen coffee pot to vintage comics. First time purchasing items. Items were as described. Based on exchange rates there are bargains to be found here. Because the items vary from auction to auction you need to look at their online catalog to determine whether it is worth going. Friendly service by a young gentleman (Dave?).

This is a fantastic auction house located a relatively short distance from downtown Montreal. Was accessible by public transit which is safe and easy to use in Montreal. Talked with one of the owners before the auction, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Auction was interesting with a great assortment of items. Great place to pickup some unique items. Purchased an Eskimo soapstone sculpture for a bargain compared to retail prices (About half the price). Combines entertainment, shopping and vintage collecting in visit. Would recommend if you are visiting Montreal for a few days.
