It has plenty benches and offers good view to the city. At the end is Port of Montreal Tower, you can look towards beginning of Lachine canal. Around the railing towards the Tower are information displays about the history of Montreal's port and canal During our visit the park behind the Tower was closed as they did some work there. It must be nice just to walk down and sit there when it will be finished. But it's also a bit windy there.

Amazingly diverse cross section of Montrealers of all ages and persuasion. Theme musical nights, cocktails and beer. Great views and people watching, friendly staff all in a beach atmosphere.Truly unique in this city and a friendly vibe. FYI pet friendly so you will see well behaved dogs, cats and Unidentified creatures.

It's OK. It's a Montreal 'beach' after all.
More like sandy bank to a waveless lake, which is sometimes off limits due to water quality (sewage nearby I think).
OK to relax and feel like you're somewhere warmer for a minute.
