Loved the costumed character who introduce you to the ‘mansion�� and explained the room. Our only complaint was that the room was uncomfortably warm and could really use a few fans. Absolutely loved finding out the history of the neighborhood through the game. The location is in a converted factory building and you are put in the mood from the start and the staff are great.
There are several games to try out and best is to be in one or more small groups of 4-5 participants.The concept is smart... based on the fact that you have to figure a ‘way out’..and work as a team to uncover cues and progressively work your way through a well designed and challenging maze.
The success rate is low (3%) so be confident ...but be prepared to fail in getting the final riddle solved...unless of course you and your team are the best .

Both were very logical, immersive and exciting. Very friendly and helpful staff. The decor and props were very authentic and the puzzles were hard but solvable.
The staff is super friendly!
We didn’t succeed in disarming the bomb but the staff were very helpful and encouraging all through the time we were there! This was my third time in a escape game (but first time there) and this is my favorite one yet. There is a screen at the beginning of the game that explains everything and even gives you clues along the escape game. I recommend it to anyone ! Plus, the employee that was there was really kind. - Lynn CSainte-Marthe-sur-le-lac, Canada51 contributionsWe went to Amaze for part of my daughter's bachorlette. It was a 2 hour walk around Old Montreal, looking for answers to clues. Each answer enabled us to open one of many keys on the chest. This was so much fun. We would definitely do this again. - Excape Room MasterOttawa, Canada27 contributionsI liked the Barbershop so much I decided to come back and do Interstellar Panic, with a similar group of people. We did not escape this one (it is considered harder than the Barbershop) but we still had fun. We had the same game master and he was great like the first time around. The game vibe is kind of like Find the Key (older, not as flashy as A/Maze) but with some good technology gimmicks as well. Wish they had more rooms, they originally were gonna open a room especially for two people and it was supposed to be made entirely of MIRRORS!
