If you are interested in the history of Montreal, this museum is a fun and interactive way to explore it. The museum uses technology to create a unque experience for visitors. We spent about 4 hours before being "museumed" out. Not recommended for small children, but kids 7+ should find it engaging.

Only 25% of the collection was available for viewing. I wish their website would update the public as to when the remainder of the collection will be viewable.

This museum was very interesting. We went through it and learned about Lakes and Ecco systems. We enjoyed ourselves even though we visited without kids.

What they had was amazing! The beauty of their insect displays were phenomenal and the butterfly room was magical. My only critique was I wish there was more especially for the cost of admission.

Very much enjoyed not only looking at the exhibits but having a go on the many interactive ones as well. Great for families of all ages. Luckily when we went it was not busy and only one school group of little children was visiting but I can imagine it getting busy if several groups visiting which would make it harder to interact with exhibits.

I've visited Centre Phi twice; once for a VR exhibit several years ago and just recently for the Yayoi Kusama exhibit; really enjoyed the Infinity Room!

Building properties are very nice and intimate for holding exhibits.
Staff is generally friendly and perfectly bilingual
Entry is pricey but they frequently do offer free tickets for some exhibits (Yayoi Kusama being one such example)
Clear written descriptions of all pieces of artwork
Ticket ordering process was quite straightforward on their website; thankfully I didn't have to wait too long in the "virtual queue" :)

Only two comments (with regards to the Yayoi Kusama exhibit)
    - Staff should have informed us about the audio guide option at the start of of the visit; we only found out about this towards the end
    - More time should have been given in the infinity rooms

I would come back depending on what's being shown

The Bank of Montreal's Head Office (French: Édifice de la Banque de Montréal) is located on 119, rue Saint Jacques (119, Saint Jacques Street) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, across the Place d'Armes from the Notre-Dame Basilica in the Old Montreal neighbourhood. The Bank of Montreal is the oldest bank in Canada, founded in 1817. Although it still remains the bank's legal headquarters, its operational head office was moved to First Canadian Place in Toronto in 1977 he centrepiece of the complex is the Bank of Montreal Main Branch, a Pantheon-like building built by John Wells in 1847. The building was inspired by the design of the former headquarters of the Commercial Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh

It was a beautiful experience, reconnecting with nature. I appreciated the fact that while it focused on changing human behaviour to preserve nature, it was a positive and hopeful experience.

For more than a century Montréal was the unrivaled financial capital of Canada, when local business magnates and tycoons controlled some 85 percent of the resources in Canada. Founded in 1817, the Bank of Montreal is Canada’s first bank, whose main office faces Place d’Armes (Yup- the same one where the famous basilica 'Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal' is there)

the imposing facade resembles the Pantheon and evokes the power of ancient Rome.

Imp tip: Anyone can enter during business hours, though photography is not allowed in the branch area. Gaze up at the dome as you walk in and be sure to visit their small museum featuring exhibits about the history of the bank, including a 19th-century teller’s window, photos, coins, and banknotes. Admission is free.

We loved our trip to the Musee des Hospitalieres - it has loads of insight into many unsung female heroes of French Canada with a range of different exhibits to keep you engaged

This open air museum is free to enter and is located at the end of canal Lachine. There are numerous structures at permanent display here which may require a few hours to explore thoroughly. The area is very popular with locals on a weekend for picnics and gathering. If you want to have more space and peace to explore, it's better to go during the day.
