Vieux-Montreal is where the city began, and its old buildings and cobblestone streets make it the most picturesque neighborhood in the city. This is where you'll also find the popular waterfront promenade along the Vieux-Port (Old Port).

As you wander around Old Montreal, you'll most likely end up in the lively area by the Saint Lawrence River known as the Old Port (Vieux-Port). Here, you'll find plenty of things to do, from riding the giant Ferris wheel or climbing the famous clock tower, right through to screaming down a zipline that descends from dizzying heights across open stretches of water.

If exhausted, grab a coffee and sit on one of the sunny patios and just soak up the scene.

In the summer, boat tours leave from the docks here. If you really want to soak up the sun, there is even a man-made beach at the base of the clocktower with views back to the city or out over the river.

all I can say- this is the vibe (Specially St Paul Street and Jacques Cartier Square)

This is one of a number of squares in yjis area of Montreal. One the most important Parks in Montreal, ‘Dominion Square Park-Place du Canada’ (Dorchester Square), features many monuments relevant to the history of Montreal. The park located in downtown Montreal covers over five acres of green space. It was inaugurated in 1878

This is a very crazy area we came across walking from our nearby hotel on Sherbrook Avenue going towards Notre Dame cathedral and the old town. We first ate at Eggspectation and then continued our walk noticing what a change a few hours produced: from being rather quiet at 10am to being very lively at mid day. I would expect in the evening to be poor madness.

Lots of shops, restaurants, coffee places etc - a typical touristic area.
