Address
Neighbourhood: Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

The entrance is specatular - and you can walk up the grand staircase with beautiful stained glass ceiling. But once you get to the top - it is a school and you are asked to leave. So take a quick peek of the staircase.

Beautiful tenement house. It is located on Passeig de Gracia, actually on the corner, where there are a lot of beautiful tenement houses, but unfortunately also a lot of people. Hence, when looking up and admiring the facades, or when entering the buildings, be aware of the people around you.
In style, it resembles a small palace with Arabic elements rather than the tenement house itself. It's worth stopping and entering.
