- Steve_of_N21London, UK3,054 contributionsTo be truthful we only came here for the views, which are truly stunning, and expected to ignore the funfair. However, as we had come in May outside a school holiday the place was relatively quiet and quite a few of the rides were not open. But for those that were there we no queues and you could virtually walk straight onto them. However, several had signs on the queuing area saying 1 hour and 2 hours queuing from this point, so heaven knows what this place must be like in high summer at the height of the school holidays.
I think you can buy an all-inclusive 35 Euro ticket (which also includes the Funicular) or individual rides for 3 euros. We relived our youth and went on a couple and the red aeroplane ride was a right giggle.
As a tourist primarily interested in the views, I would recommend trying to visit outside the high season and definitely outside school holidays. Very difficult to find anything without mobile internet:). In the end found Parc Guell. As previously attentive staff to operate the platform lift to let me in. Good accessible loo. Level access to stalls. As stalls are raked my chair was tilted slightly forward. Only the Circle bar sells spirits. No lift access.
The show.
No doubt that the dancer/choreographer and his musician/percussion/singer are talented. It’s definitely experimental. Fusion flamenco/hip hop/rap.
Very short. Entire show only 55 minutes. Of which less than 40 was dance. The rest was time padding business. Covering himself with white powder, washing it off, standing in silence, face to face.
The blocking for the theatre was poor for the left stalls. A lot of low level action obscured by floor mounted stage lights or a “tree”.

It was absolutely excellent, so much fun with lots of really clever puzzles, without a padlock in sight. Our game master was excellent and she really sold the story. We've done quite a few escape rooms, but this is one of the best. - Gabriella R2 contributionsWe had such an amazing experience at Maximum Escape! Sara was our game master, and took us through an absolutely incredible adventure both times we went. The first time, we went on the Ulysses Spaceship, which was so cool and interesting. It was such an interesting and cool storyline, and with the help of an intelligent AI it made the story all that more engaging and entertaining. The puzzles were challenging to just the right amount, not too difficult that it wasn’t fun, and not to easy that we got bored. The second time we went through (once again with Sara as our incredible guide) we did the Sherlock Holmes vs. the London Devil. This one was a bit more challenging, and there was a definitely more tension (but we were told beforehand so we were unsurprised and as a result found it to be a really engaging part of the experience. This was such and interesting plot line with really incredible set designs and engaging puzzles to solve. Overall our time at this escape room (both) was so much fun! Engaging stories, challenging but fun puzzles, and incredibly and creatively built set designs that truly heightened the experience. - MatsJ03 contributionsFor anyone with an interest in aviation this place simply has it all: a well-stocked bookstore about civil and military aviation, aircraft scale models, other accessories etc. - and flight simulators. The simulators are professional quality and very realistic: my son got two hrs in the 737 as a christmas present and found the experience absolutely awesome (and the instructor was great). Grisel was extremely responsive during the whole organisation process, especially for a large group and Carlos was fantastic on the day.
