We are visiting from Scotland and they have really nailed that cosy snug feel like an old pub, and surrounded by beautiful bottles of whisky. It feels classy, but not snobby, and the staff are fabulous, really welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful!
The cocktails…oh the cocktails…so so delicious, incredible flavours, and every one a revelation! We ended up at Fizz on the recommendation of the hotel front desk. It was perfect. They had a lively trio playing (see photos) and the bar was perfect - Just far enough from the music to enjoy it but still talk with my wife. Would highly recommend. Arrived to Honky Tonk Blues and at first glance was quite impressed with the lay out and atmosphere of the pub. Had a few drinks at the bar and everything was going well until I noticed a security guard with small man syndrome causing issues. Although we were only at the bar for a short amount of time, we were witness to his small man syndrome in full force.
There would have been half a dozen or more people removed from the premise within a 2 hour space unnecessarily other then to satisfy his short comings.
