We learned about the soil and how the grapes are grown and how they make the wine. They had a wonderful selection of wines for tasting and some traditional foods with it. Valentina did a very good job in linking the gastronomy of this region with the gothic quarter surroundings. I recommend this evening tour to anyone especially to someone traveling “solo” because you will meet other travelers and have the opportunity to share some delightful meals. The food was delicious and filling and we made some great new friends in our group tour. Short walk tithe shuttle bus and a nice 50 minute drive to the vineyard. Host met us promptly and we had a nice tour around the grounds and truly enjoyed the ride though the vineyard. Nice 1000 year old chapel on the property we got to see. Enjoyed the first tasting of3 wines before a short drive to the 2nd vineyard where their cava is produced. Host promptly met us and we toured the cellars and finished with four cava tasting. Can not say enough about our two gracious hosts who made us feel like guests. The food was delicious! We had a nice time getting to know the other people on our tour as well.
