- Raintree_ThailandBangkok, Thailand4,206 contributionsThree cheers plus for Barcelona for providing one of the best transport services to and from the airport of any major city in the world! The Aerobus is super convenient, with it's downtown terminus at Placa de Catalunya (with a couple of other stops along the way). There are separate buses for Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, both loading and unloading at the east side of the plaza. Passengers can buy tickets in advance online or from machines, from staff nearby, or from the driver, and can pay with credit card. The buses have lots of space for luggage. The trip to or from the airport takes less than 30 minutes and there are buses running every 10 minutes or less. The fare is 7.25 euros. - Amanda Q2 contributionsWe booked with Roman after I did extensive research on transfer options in Barcelona and found that he (and his small business) received MANY top ratings. I personally look for options that come highly regarded as safe and reputable- I could really not care about the price for transfers, especially in cities I am unfamiliar with (such as Barcelona) as long as the situation makes me feel safe.
All I can say is that Roman (and Rueben) were absolutely FANTASTIC! I sent Roman an email 6 months prior to our cruise with multiple pickups (from BCN to our hotel, hotel to cruise port, cruise port to hotel and hotel to BCN). Roman answered my emails quickly (within hours) and I sent quite a few.
Rueben (who is one of the drivers who works with Roman) assisted us on three of the four transfers with Rueben assisting on the last. They were both early (prior to our arrival time), the car/van were extremely clean/tidy, they know the city really well as they are both born/raised there. While we transferred around the city, they offered solid insights into neighborhoods, restaurants that we should check out. Both were so very friendly which also put us at ease while we transferred around the city.
You can pay with cash or card in the car once you arrive at your destination each time. I had two large rolling suitcases and my husband had one large rolling suitcase and one carry on- so we booked the car rental (not the van) and this worked out just fine.
I cannot speak more positively about Roman/Rueben/this company. - KelvinCharlotte, NC8 contributionsWe traveled with six adults for a 2 day vacation in Barcelona and then a 7 day cruise and back to Barcelona for the trip home. We used Bohigas airport transfer to pick us up at airport, carry us to Hotel. They then picked us up at Hotel to transport us to the cruise ship. They then picked us up from the port after the cruise to take us back to airport. On all three occasions, the service was impeccable!! The drivers were very attentive and courteous. We had alot of bags and all fit very well in the van which was so comfortable we felt like celebrities. Without question, these guys are the REAL DEAL!! If you're planning a trip to Barcelona and need any transport, make sure you have Bohigas airport transfer in your speed dial. I promise you won't be disappointed. I need to mention one thing, they will keep you updated by text. We arrived about 2 hours earlier from our cruise than our scheduled pickup. I just text them that we were at the port and they came to pick us up with 20mins. We were very happy about that. We prepaid 15 euro and got a confirmation with no driver's info, the driver arrived on time, no complains there. - Chris WKent, UK144 contributionsWhat a great tour we had this morning with Pepe. He was so knowledgeable, kind and helpful and made the trip so enjoyable. We are not very mobile but Pepe gauged individually how much we were both able to do and planned the trip so that we saw as much as we possibly could. A great experience of a wonderful city. We need to come back!
We had pictured a sedate drive round, gently gazing at historic places. Pepe was like a whirlwind, made sure we saw everything, but always being kind and respectful, making sure we were safe and happy. But still, there was only 1 operator to run the tickets and the line, so there were several times where the sign ' wait 10 mins' appeared. Anyway, we finally got on the cable car and... meh. - Rublazben17 contributionsTopTransfer deliver us an excellent service, the driver was waiting in arrivals hall at airport with my name in the tablet, the transfer was on time and helpful courteous driver. On time too for pick up from hotel back to airport. There was a good communication by email with an easy booking process, they were flexible when I had to advance the pickup time on the last transfer from the hotel. - OrcaHertsStevenage, UK51 contributionsUsed Viva fir transfers in Fuerteventura. On arrival the driver was waiting right outside the arrival doors. Within 40 mins we were st our accommodation in Corralejo.
On the say of return I contacted Viva to see if they could pick us up an hour earlier than booked. Within 10 mins 30 seater bus arrived for just the two of us. Really pleasant journey back. The price was very reasonable. Our driver was waiting for us when we got out of passport control and picked up our luggage and his car was parked right in front of the airport. The driver was so friendly and handed waters to each of us before departing. Just a great experience, especially after a grim trip from Stansted on Ryanair (I don’t recommend either of those things).
My only complaint is with TripAdvisor. Their email updates and the pass that they provided for my AppleWallet didn’t include the timing details that I’d arranged so I was concerned that there may be a problem. The service, communication and drivers were amazing. Our drivers were polite and friendly and the vehicles were of high standard.
