- suz039Altea, Spain69 contributionsdecided as the weather was very warm and had booked to stay in Sitges for a couple of days to use the ferry. Directions go to port at end of Las Ramblas and turn right. We had luggage with us which was taken off us before we boarded which we were worried about as we were not given a luggage ticket or receipt.The ferry was very quiet small bar and usual snacks similar to train journey. Very small outdoor space so not a cruise. Music on the journey of 55 mins was the latest club music and absolutely blasting so there was not much chance for conversation did try and ask one of the staff about Sitges but we couldn't hear each other. On arrival in Sitges port if you are staying in the main village it is a VERY long walk you would need a taxi or bus . Lots of bars and restaurants at the port but transport needed for the village center. - NigelMahon, Spain13 contributionsWhy do the passengers in the car have to get out of the car, and go through a security checkpoint like on an airplane? For heaven’s sake if they wanted to bring something on board not allowed, the blooming driver can bring it with them as they don’t get any checks. Absolutely ridiculous. Inconvenience to the passengers and it is nonsensical. They could learn something from the English and French ferries.
