This is a must experience. The bus will deliver you adjacent to the basilica. The tour was very thorough as to the long history of the various stages of building. It's beautiful inside and with much architecture and planning. Nice gift shop also if you like to study Gaudi.

Interesting experience to visit this Parc with lots of Gaudi pieces of art and amazing views of Barcelona. The weather was not very pleasant because of the heat. The parc was crowded and it was hard to take good pictures. Overall, nice experience.

Super cool part of the city. Cathedral was beautiful, so was the palace beside it didn’t pay to go inside, but just viewing the outside was enough. I definitely recommend spending a whole day walking through this area. We went inside another cathedral and climbed up that tower and had an amazing view of the entire city and the other big cathedral.

Big variety of foods, drinks and many more. It’s a paradise for people like me, who love to visit and eat fresh food.
The downside is the amount of tourists.
It’s hard to move around and you must be careful with your belongings.

I had wanted to see this area and to look all the way down to the Venetian Towers. Unfortunately, there was no water. Best to see this with the fountain operating and the light show in place.

We visited with two boys aged 10 and 8. Although the Nou Camp is under constriction and therefore not open, we had a brilliant trip. The museum is excellent and really well done, and the virtual tour and Robokeeper are great fun. We spent a morning there and weren’t disappointed with any of it.

We were there before the tourism protests. We enjoyed the area, we kept away from La Rambla as there is nothing to get excited about, extremely touristy and tacky. However the restaurants at the other end looked okay. We spent most of our time in the gothic area, and looked for restaurants/cafes away from the main streets. We always had good food and service. The two different hop on hop off bus companies always seemed busy, but it’s good way to look around especially if your jet lagged!

Situated to the East of Barcelona in the El Born district, this green space is on the site of a former military fortress, the Citadel, which was here until 1869 when the government official General Prim ordered the demolition of the building and the return of the land to the city and his statue on horseback is one of many throughout the park. However, the most impressive is the Monumental Waterfall, which is the Parc de la Ciutadella’s most eye-catching feature and opened in 1881. It is the work of the master builder Josep Fontseré, who was appointed to undertake the transformation of the area but was assisted in the Waterfall by a young Antoni Gaudí. It is also home to the Parlament de Catalunya building that was built in 1932.

What an amazing science museum this is. So much to see and do with so many interactive displays. It's not just boards of text (though there are information boards explaining the display) but instead it's more like you're doing experiments so that you can understand what it's trying to show. The flooded rainforest in particular is simply amazing. The best museum we've been to and the highlight of our trip to Barcelona

This is a gorgeous area of Barcelona which needs to be explored on foot. We had gone through this before on a HOHO bus, and it does not do justice to it.

To be truthful we only came here for the views, which are truly stunning, and expected to ignore the funfair. However, as we had come in May outside a school holiday the place was relatively quiet and quite a few of the rides were not open. But for those that were there we no queues and you could virtually walk straight onto them. However, several had signs on the queuing area saying 1 hour and 2 hours queuing from this point, so heaven knows what this place must be like in high summer at the height of the school holidays.
I think you can buy an all-inclusive 35 Euro ticket (which also includes the Funicular) or individual rides for 3 euros. We relived our youth and went on a couple and the red aeroplane ride was a right giggle.
As a tourist primarily interested in the views, I would recommend trying to visit outside the high season and definitely outside school holidays. But I would definitely recommend making it up here for both the views and the church, both of which are spectacular.

Wow! So glad we decided to see this spot.
Walked in for tickets, no crowds, manageable size to see, spectacular architecture!
    So worth the time.

The sea front sand stretches all the way from the fairly new W Barcelona Hotel to the Forum in the eastern end of Barcelona’s sea front and encompasses several beaches, but this one is probably the most famous and the one most visitors to Barcelona will experience.
It’s a very lively beach and one where the locals come to play games, pose or just relax on the sand, and for the tourist it is a great spot to stroll along or just sit on the sea wall to sit and do a spot of people watching.
We always walked it whilst in town and never used it as a beach and to be honest if we had considered doing a bit of sunbathing we would not have chosen here as the sheer number of beach hawkers trying to sell you all manor of things is just off the scale, and from where I was sitting it didn’t look very relaxing for the poor people trying to sunbathe on the beach. For this I would tend to recommend the quieter beaches away from this tourist centre.

My family and I visited Museo Alien while in the city last month. We are all big fans of the Alien movies and it is clear that Luis has created an experience that is as close as you can get to being in the movies! Every exhibit is fascinating and some are so rare you will not see them anywhere else. The design of the museum is as important as the items on display, and Luis has even incorporated some of the actual visual effects techniques from the movies into the design of the museum. This place is a must-see for any serious Aliens (or sci-fi) fan.

What an impressive site. You can walk to this from Montjuic or take a HOHO bus around it. This is a heavy traffic area so be careful crossing the street! But definitely put on your bucket list for Barcelona.
