I went with my friends and loved the place. The idea of a Tropical/Andean brunch is genius! Our top choice: the Benedicts (yucca waffle, bacon and poached eggs!) and the French toasts (they come with tamarind sauce 🥰). The juices were very good and the specialty coffee super tasty and very well presented (I got a llama on my cappuccino 🥳). The staff was nice as well. Quite a special surprise in Barcelona!

Stunning service and delicious food. Diego was great to chat to and made sure we had everything we needed. We ate the avocado toast and 4 egg omelette, huge portions, very tasty and great price! I had a lovely pineapple and mango juice that was very refreshing. Would recommend to anyone in Barcelona. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m here.

A friend of mine suggested this place and it became one of my favorites in town! You have different types of food in one place, which is great when you go with groups. Everything we tried was delicious (ceviche, Benedict, omelette, patacones, coffee, mimosas…), but what I loved the most was the attention…. The owners make you feel at home! Thank you for everything!

The food was delicious!! We got the supreme Benedict, lemon pancakes and the berry pancakes. The drinks were also delicious. My daughter got the iced caramel latte and my husband got the chai latte and he couldn’t stop raving about it. Our server Santiago was so awesome. We came with my 7 year old who is a picky eater and Santiago was very patient with him and so kind. Santiago even gave us suggestions of tourist spots to visit. Great service and great food.

Went here for breakfast with my friend and everything was really delicious. I had the eggs benedict and she had the bao buns with chicken - superb. The staff were super friendly and accommodating I also tried the cinnamon bun ith salted caramel which was very tasty. I can see it being very popular but luckily we got s table straight away and service was fast

Great location for a cooked breakfast in the Eixample area of Barcelona. It was close to my hotel. The Eggs Benedict and Eggs Esmeralda were nicely portioned and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambience was nice, not too noisy.

I dined at Lato Café with my wife and our two year old son on our first morning in Barcelona after looking up the best places to eat for breakfast & it was only a short walk from the gothic quarter & old town where we were staying.
It's situated on one of the many quiet & typically leafy streets of Barcelona offers with a really relaxed vybe as you enter. The cafe has many seating areas to chose from inside but also offer a few tables outside which we chose.
We chose the Benedict Supreme with smoked salmon & El Mono Yel Serrano with a couple of iced caramel lattes. Needless to say both dishes were outstanding with extremely flavoursome ingredients & plenty of Latin / South American influences flowing throughout!
The staff were super friendly and helpful too.
I would 110% go back and I'd recommend anyone who's wondering where to chose breakfast / lunch from in Barcelona to visit Lato Café. You will NOT be disappointed!!

We came in for the ceviche and it was amazing! What surprised me the most was the phenomenal service of this place. We we were welcomed immediately and the spoke English flawlessly. The server Eddie built rapport with us and recommended some items on the menus. It’s a very. I’ve place to eat fantastic food and relax. They have free WiFi as well. I highly recommend this place!!!

Cozy and unique breakfast/brunch spot with amazing food and atmosphere. Staff speaks fluent English and Spanish which makes it a perfect place for tourists and travelers to relax and have a good meal and coffee to start their day. I got the hot chai latte with almond milk and an eggs Benedict which were both excellent and the chai tasted like a liquid cinnamon roll. Lots of options for for gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan diners as well

A very nice place and the staff is very friendly. The "Pancakes clásicos" are very tasty! You need to try them. It also has a wide range of dishes without gluten and lactose. Friday and saturday is ceviche and cocktails night. The Pisco sour was so good. A very nice restaurant that you have to visit!

It’s a great place to have lunch.
Good coffee and food. And great attention overall. The waitress was really nice.
The food was delicious, with the possibility to add some extra and unusual toppings.
The juices were delicious.
And the coffee too: great flavour and a really fluffy milk foam.

We called in for a late lunch just before they closed. The food was very tasty and staff were very accommodating, I really enjoyed the Bikini Manaba and the iced latte. It's a nice place to hang out. We were going to have a dessert but gave up as we'd had a leisurely meal and the staff were looking to close up.

While visiting Spain with friends we were looking for a brunch place and stumbled upon Lato Cafe. They were one of the only places near us offering full brunch instead of just tapas. Just from the second you walk in the door it was quality. Food was great and tasted even better with the great service provided!

On holiday from the UK with my girlfriend. Really fancied some good brunch food, came across Lat0 on Google. Glad I found it! Very nicely greeted by a very friendly man, his colleague who served us for the duration was also very friendly. All spoke good English and ordering through the menu on a QR code was a breeze. Food came and presentation was amazing, and the brunch food was fantastic. Coffee was excellent as well as the juice.

Eggs Benedict Supreme and El Niño Tost were very good breakfast to have, especially Eggs Benedict with fries and fried platanos. Salty vs. sweet, very tender taste. The service was amazing too! Very welcoming!
