- Elizabeth RVienna, Austria39 contributionsMy partner and I did the La Cerveseria room. It was absolutely excellent, so much fun with lots of really clever puzzles, without a padlock in sight. Our game master was excellent and she really sold the story. We've done quite a few escape rooms, but this is one of the best. - Gabriella R2 contributionsWe had such an amazing experience at Maximum Escape! Sara was our game master, and took us through an absolutely incredible adventure both times we went. The first time, we went on the Ulysses Spaceship, which was so cool and interesting. It was such an interesting and cool storyline, and with the help of an intelligent AI it made the story all that more engaging and entertaining. The puzzles were challenging to just the right amount, not too difficult that it wasn’t fun, and not to easy that we got bored. The second time we went through (once again with Sara as our incredible guide) we did the Sherlock Holmes vs. the London Devil. This one was a bit more challenging, and there was a definitely more tension (but we were told beforehand so we were unsurprised and as a result found it to be a really engaging part of the experience. This was such and interesting plot line with really incredible set designs and engaging puzzles to solve. Overall our time at this escape room (both) was so much fun! Engaging stories, challenging but fun puzzles, and incredibly and creatively built set designs that truly heightened the experience. Total immersion, logical flow, and some interesting twists depending on choices you make. - Betsey T3 contributionsThis was my favorite escape room of all time! My partner and I have done at least 10 escape rooms, both in Barcelona and in the US, and this one was my favorite! The experience begins even before you enter the space. We became actors in this immersive escape room that had exciting elements that I had never seen before. Lots of great puzzles in over 9 separate spaces that were a great mix of styles. There was a cool suprise at the end. - Sherpa536427137091 contributionAbsolutely amazing! We were on vacation in Barcelona and decided to do the Jigsaw room with my brother. Introduction is great, immediately lets you know you're not here to joke around. Puzzles are nice, not too easy but not too complicated. We ended up dying but weren't too far from making it out alive, a few more minutes or an addtionnal person would have been enough. I found it really scary, with a few jumpscares. You can find many elements / games from the movies. Game Master was really nice and explained to us what we missed after the game. This escape room is clearly the best we have ever tried! and so we returned the next day to try one of the other challenges! - Dylan B1 contributionThe quality and size of the escape room [Hotel Overlook] was really good and something happened to me which I did not expect. Max was a great actor and Game Master as well. Las Maravillas de Agrabah was one of the most immersive and well themed rooms we’ve done. The puzzles had a nice variety to them, with some playing directly into the story quite well.
