Very comfortable room, comfortable bed, lovely modern furniture. Breakfast delicious too. Pillows excellent and soft. Bed was super comfortable. AC worked well. Slippers and douche, shampoo etc was provided, the latter in abundance. Had a stocked fridge and bottled water provided daily. Coffee/ tea making facilities not provided, no bath robes, could have done with more supply of body lotion too. Slightly noisy in the night. Staff very helpful and kind. Will definitely like to return.

In the UK any entrance to a tube station will allow you access to all platforms not in Barcelona, you need to check. As once in some stations you go straight on to the platform with no option to cross over to the other side unless you come back out. Also the metro map and underground map is the same L lines and S lines but they could be on a different level.

We toured the bottom part of Spain by train from Madrid, to Cordoba, to Sevilla, to Valencia, to Zaragoza, and finally Barcelona. The trains are modern and fairly clean, and the train stations are nice. The RENFE app is easy to use, so booking is easy and fast. My issue is that it is very expensive when you compare to fares in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Netherlands. There are less trains, and the trains are very slow. We never spent more than 4 hours in a train anywhere in Europe or the UK. Our trip from Madrid to Sevilla took nearly 6 hours, and from Valencia to Barcelona nearly 5 hours. We never chose the slowest or cheapest either, and always pick the best available. Based on our experience this company is dead last in pricing, availability, and speed in comparison to all the other companies we travelled with during our 9 month tour of the UK and Europe.

We traveled once from Madrid to Lisbon and that was the best train ride I have ever had and I will explain why: I can never sleep in trains and here I slept soundly the whole night and woke up very refreshed and energetic!
The cabin was for just two people, a little tight, but quite enough room. We had a small sink, towels and two toiletries bags, given to us as gifts! The journey was very comfortable, we would do that again and highly recommend it!

Too expensive service. A round trip from Barcelona to Igualada, the furthest the train goes (around 60 km), costs 17 euros.
