We had a wonderful experience at this property during COVID! We chose it because it was a little off the beaten path and it had a very high cleanliness rating. The hotel is centrally located, and it's a two minute drive to Footbridge Beach. It's away from the heavily congested area of Ogunquit. The hotel room was clean, bright and spacious. Our large family stayed in two rooms with a balcony in building one. The balcony was semi-private, as three rooms shared it. We were very distanced from the other family. The rooms had spectacular views! The hotel has a pool. They offer a grab & go continental breakfast with prepackaged items. The beds were comfy and the very large tv had many channels. Anything we requested such as toilet paper and soap was provided immediately. The sliding glass door handle was broken in our room. I reported it before we left for the day. They fixed it immediately and sprayed disinfectant in the room upon exiting. I would stay at this hotel again!

I have two very minor complaints. The hotel advertises a hot tub, but it was been removed. It's still listed on the property maps that are provided upon arrival. I called the hotel directly to ask questions about the COVID response and I ended up booking the hotel during the call but I was not given the best rate available. Additionally, they gave me two reservation numbers for two rooms. I had to call the 800 number to get the best rate available and then I had to cancel my original two reservations. It was extremely inconvenient.

Awesome, clean, updated hotel on the river. With river views, and updated rooms and lobby. Breakfast included in your stay, all covid precautions being taken. Room was spotless, towels were wrapped in plastic, soap, shampoo conditioner lotion wrapped in plastic, remote sanitized. Beds very comfortable and a 32” flat screen tv. Bathroom remodeled with beautiful sliding glass doors. Cleanliness was impeccable. So nice to have the paddle boards and the kayaks on site. A bit far from town but we didn’t mind driving in and out, very close to both footbridge beach and Wells beach, and those are much quieter then ogunquit beach! Pool and hot tub beautifully maintained, Would definitely stay again!

We did not stay at the hotel but we did rent kayaks from a vendor on the hotel grounds. The kayaks are available for 1hr, 2hrs, or a half day. When we came back and asked for restrooms after kayaking, we were told there were no facilities outdoors by the kayak stand. We went to the main lobby to ask if we could use a restroom and they were inexplicably rude. They told us restrooms are only for guests and people who come to the hotel to rent a kayak are not considered guests. We were condescendingly explained that despite the advertising for the kayaking service on the property and instructions to kayakers to park in the hotel’s lot, the hotel is not affiliated with the kayak service and therefore we are not guests and not welcome to relieve our bladders in their precious restrooms. “There is a gas station 1/2 a mile down the road. Perhaps they will permit you to use their restroom,” the registration desk employee told us in a hollow effort to appear polite. For a town and a part of the country known for its friendliness, this was a glaring exception.

Besides the unpleasant loud pounding and light shaking of the building whenever someone walks on any floor (or allows their children to run wild outside of the rooms), our 2 week stay at this hotel was wonderful. The top floor room overlooking the back of the property and the water where kayakers often began their day was very nice to wake up to. Due to Covid, it only took a simple phone call to the front desk for towel/toilet paper replacement. I found employees here friendly, helpful, and willing to assist guests. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space to put bags, etc. The sink being outside the nice bathroom was a bonus. I'd recommend staying here and will hope to return.

This hotel was amazingly clean and quiet. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful, cleaning staff were friendly, polite and attentive to our needs since we opted to not have them clean the room the third day we were there (we generated a lot of trash since we ordered take out instead of dining in at the local restaurants). The outdoor swimming pool was crystal clear the 5 days were stayed even when it was heavily used. We would absolutely stay again. Just a reminder...the upper level rooms are stair access only!! Plan accordingly, heavy luggage has to be lugged up the staircase(s).

Beware! Disgusting bathroom that flooded due to clogged drains was tipping point for this overpriced cheaply renovated motel.
1. Description/pics are extremely misleading. A ‘third floor’ room is in fact at entry level adjacent to parking, with no view, just a high window that won’t open. So to enjoy the rear of property you have to walk around and sit on the grass in front of other guest’s decks/balconies as if you didn’t actually pay to stay there.
2. After booking on Expedia, etc you will start receiving unsolicited texts from staff pressuring you to cancel and rebook direct for the ‘best room’. When they are unable to send you an exact invoice for new room rate, you are told to call the hotel. When you do, you are told there are now 2 bookings in your name but the desk person is unable to confirm the exact rate/fees, so you give up and keep your Expedia booking. 3. When you check in, with your family of 4 mid-road trip, to find your actual room ‘view’ and no access to rear of property, you complain to desk staff who shrug that you ‘should really book direct’ as if your (already) overpriced room is not worth their time. Dear hotel, if you do not want to treat all customers equally, do not partner with hotel booking sites!
4. While showering you notice water leaking out of bathroom. You pick up the drain cover to find filthy mold and clogged hair that must be removed in order to safely shower without flooding the room below. Ditto the bathroom sink. Yuk.
5. You will continue to received unsolicited texts from 'desk staff' that night offering you 30% off if you book same room for another night. When you respond with photos of bathroom mess, you receive no response.
To conclude - So many other great hotels and inns in this lovely area! Save yourself and book somewhere that is sanitary, offers breakfast and doesn’t try to fish for your reservation via constant texting. Not to be trusted!

The room was clean but very stark. There could definitely be more electrical outlets and the wifi was actually awful. Rarely connected for more than a minute or so. The room was on the lowest floor and a wifi booster somewhere in the area might help. Bed was very soft - too much so for our liking but probably wonderful for others. Staff members were friendly, although one of the check-in staff was not wearing a mask, despite excellent signage everywhere to do so. This was reported to the GM. The place is nice enough, the views make it worthwhile.

Fortunately, we only stayed here one night. We arrived after dark and in the rain, and were assigned #330 for our 3rd floor double Queen bay view room. We had changed our reservation from using points at their request via text to paying via credit card for a slightly better rate. In the morning, we discovered that we had probably the worst view in the entire resort between two high brick walls with a little river showing between. When we complained when we checked out, we were given a manager’s card. No response yet to calls and a text. The hotel had about five cars in the parking lot, so there were definitely other rooms we could have been given. Very unnecessary alienation of customers.
The breakfast offered was a packaged piece of pound cake:(
I can understand why others would be happy with the place, as it seemed that every other room had a nice view. Sadly, not our experience…

My family had wonderful stay at this hotel. The grounds were beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony overlooking the river. The pool was clean and heated. Our room was clean and decorated nicely. A microwave and refrigerator would have been nice addition as well as an access card rather than an actual key. There was no maid service due to Covid but the front desk was always happy to provide us with additional towels or coffee pods. The coffee and pre-packaged pastries offered in the lobby every morning was appreciated. We took advantage of the kayak rental and had a great experience. Trolley stop is right in front and there are also many restaurants within walking distance. We will stay here again and recommend to other families.
