We had a party of 22 and although they were unable to seat us all together our tables were close to each others. Everyone loved their meals and the waitresses that took care of us were great, very patient and even did separate checks for 11 couples. They were very accommodating for us.

We arrived at 11:30 on a Saturday and were the second couple to be seated at a picnic table outside. The waitress promptly and pleasantly brought menus. The burgers were 1/2 price on Saturday and Sunday 11.30-3:30. We ordered the cheeseburgers and we’re very happy to have done that. I think mine was the best I have ever tasted. I had it with cheddar cheese, so I teed onions and mushrooms. The french fries were crispy and delicious. The sun was shining and always well with the world. We plan to go back for dinner tomorrow night. Good menu, good service, good place.

Our son had his rehearsal dinner here last year, and we've come back again and again, the food was so good. We have had several of the dishes, and there is something for everyone. The portions are HUGE, and most of the meats are smoked. There is everything from pasta dishes, to smoked pulled pork, kielbasa, and even mac and cheese. Last night the service was (once again) excellent. The only downside last night was the aloofness of the host. My understanding was his job was to greet us, seat us, then say pleasantly say goodbye. He bordered on rude instead. However, we will continue to go back because the rest of the staff has been so friendly, and the food is so good and reasonably priced. You will definitely enjoy it. Highly recommend.

Went to beach fires because heard good word on food.
Had a waitress that was two days on job.
Amongst the many things that went wrong including the food we waited 1 hr for the waitress to spill the food on us had beef tips that were raw and couldn’t eat, the brisket was old, dry and tough, the fries looked like out of a bag and the chicken tenders were not made there most likely also out of a bag.
We watched as more experienced waitresses sat and served their customers all around us wi tonight ten to fifteen minutes. This new girl should have been trained and shadowing someone for the first few weeks. Really not her fault.
Spoke to the hostess who looked at me like I had two heads and really didn’t care.
Bottom line won’t go again.

We stopped in here for a late night drink, around 11 pm Saturday. Confusion at the hostess stand outside as we were told if we wanted only drinks we have to order them in the bar inside and carry them outside, but had to ask the inside hostess first if that was ok. So that was weird. After we got our drinks, the inside hostess was missing so we went back to the outside hostess to be seated and she was so rude! She reprimanded us for not having asked the inside hostess! Anyway we finally were seated outside and decided we might like an appetizer. No waitstaff even approached us. We finally called one over and she said she could get us something off their late night menu. We had looked at that online but she said it wasnt the same menu and they didn’t have all of the options listed. Fine so we ordered the “burnt tips”. When we got them they were absolutely not burnt tips but chunks of tough meat with a ton of salt and were cold. Not hot, not warm…COLD. We didn’t dare send them back. Paid the bill and left. I get it- they, like everyone, are short staffed and it was late. Bad service bad food, no excuses! I can’t afford to waste my money on terrible experiences like this so I’m writing to warn others. Do not go here there are a thousand other restaurants in the area!

Our server, Morgan, was friendly, attentive and helpful when asked for suggestions on choices of wing sauce. We went with the sweet chili. Wings were great. Pulled pork and burgers were fantastic! Make sure you try the corn bread. Probably the best I've ever tasted!
Outdoor seating around the firepit was comfortable. Will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

My husband & I stopped by for a drink (attracted to the fire pit). We kept our bar tab open using a credit card. Upon proceeding to the bathroom, I noticed inside the bar area, a few shirts were hung loosely on a hanger on the wall, widely available for purchase. Interested, I checked out the medium but tried on the small size (on over my shirt to see if it fit). Immediately I was told by the bar tender that I HAD to buy it because I tried it on. I replied I would buy it but I'd prefer the medium. He said no. I thought he was joking. There weren't ANY signs ANY WHERE stating anything to the effect "you try, you buy". Nothing anywhere. I didn't take him seriously and returned to my husband outside. When my husband went to the inside bar to get another drink, he was informed the shirt was added to our bill. With no budging on the bartenders side, my husband asked for at least the medium, and was told no "she tried on the small". We never got additional drinks, aid the bill with no tip. When we left, I did approach the bartender to let him know that their treatment was unfair & how was a customer to know such "policy". He replied, "in Maine, that's what we do". Seriously? I don't think so. Ridiculous!!!
What a terrible way to treat a customer. The good, we had 2 drinks that were good and a great shirt that actually looks great on me. The "tip" was in the shirt. The bad...will NEVER visit or patronize again for not just the poor communication but the unwillingness to rectify what should've be a simple miscommunication. There is not one store that I have shopped at in the area that had an unstated, unadvertised policy. There are many great places in the area, this one was on our way back to where we were staying.

This restaurant was right next to our hotel so we gave it a try and were so glad we did. My kids liked their food but got a kick out of sitting outside by the fire during dinner and the staff gave them firemen hats so they loved it. My wife and I loved the food. Don't recall what she had but I had steak and some buttered lobster claws and everything including sides and appetizer was really good. We will absolutely stop again anytime we visit Ogunquit.

Have always wanted to go to this place for years and finally went glad we did! Sat outside and was nice atmosphere, they have a huge fire pit that you can sit around as well. Service was great, thanks to Elizabeth our server, very pleasant and attentive! They had several specials and we all got one, we got chicken Parmesan, which had two large pieces of chicken and pulled pork dinner which I have pictures of and haddock dinner as well. The portions sizes are awesome! The taste and quality of food is very good .The pulled pork dinner was delicious, it was smoked and spicy, one of the best I have ever had, for sides I chose coleslaw and home made french fries, which again tasted great, also had a side of corn bread which was sweet and was almost like a corn bread cake. We saw many meals coming out of the kitchen including Mac and cheese loaded with fried clams, steak tips and more. Great menu to choose from. Would definitely recommend!!!

We went to this restaurant to get away from the hustle and bustle of Ogunquit center. Was a great decision! Food and service were awesome!
Had steak tips and chicken, along with a strawberry salad, everything was cooked perfectly. They also have happy hour from i think 4-6, with select apps and draft beers on special.

We stayed across the street and ate inside and later got take out from here. Food and service were great! Kristina was our server when we ate inside and she was so nice and even told me how to correctly pronounce Ogunquit. I ordered the nachos appetizer and added chicken and the portion was huge. I think this is one of the best restaurants in the area

We arrived about 4:45. No wait, lots of room. Place was pretty full with waiting when we left.
Scallops were delicious. Smoked lobster was okay, but the smoke tended to hide the delicate flavor of the lobster. We LOVED the hand-cut fries and the cornbread was beyond delicious!
We left satisfied!

Food is great but definitely won’t be coming back. The service was definitely lacking and has always been like that. I know there has been a lot of changes because of Covid but from what I could tell they did have a good amount of staff on in the front of the house. I sensed an attitude from the server right away but it got worse when we didn’t order any additional drinks. Still left more than 20% and will probably only be ordering takeout from this point on.

We showed up to eat during happy hour they have between 4-6. We decided to try some of the appetizers and drinks that were half price. Really good fried pickle spears and I tried an Allagash Black on tap, which was delicious. For our entree we each orderd the bourbon marinated steak tips and sweet chili sprouts and my husband added the lobster meat. They really gave us a lot of food for the money and we probably could have shared, but we finished it all because it was so good. Really good lobster, but ask about the market price before ordering because it was more expensive than we realized. Good Service and variety of foods to pick from.

I have nothing good to say about this place, if I could provide 0 stars I would. From the moment we arrived we were given a "strict" time limit where we need to leave, we were there for an early dinner (place was dead). Our Waitress "Karlee" made sure we felt uncomfortable throughout our dining experience
