Great location and views. Clean rooms and facilities, friendly staff. 1.6 mile walk to downtown Ogunquit. Some of the rooms are accessed by stairs but the check in asked if you are ok with stairs before assigning us a room. Beds and pillows were comfortable

this is a wonderful property. great views,lots of things to do in area and quiet.shower water is hot,beds are great,good breakfast,and everything is clean and well kept.i just wish that they offered a daily room refresh.i had a problem with the hair dryer not working an within a couple of hours they sent a man with a replacement.

View is amazing. Property is centrally located. Walking distance to basic needs. Easy parking. Kayaking out of the property. The staff are very friendly. We had a balcony which I highly recommend asking for. We might get the breakfast next time.

Room is newly updated, bedding, furniture, carpeting,etc. However, our sliding screen door was badly damaged with holes and did not slide well. You would have thought they would have noticed that when they did the renovations. Several spots on ceiling that look like water leaks and where the paint is peeling. Did they miss this or has it happened since the renovation? Also terrible musty smell upon using the sink. Evidence of mold/mildew in grout on bathroom floor tile. We were there for 2 nights. Was not offered housekeeping services, nor did we receive any. We felt the bed was too soft, but we realize that this is personal preference.

Once we checked in we discovered that we had to haul our luggage down a steep driveway to get to our room. The room was accessed by a sliding glass door. It smelled horribly of mold and cat urine. It was so damp inside the room that the carpet felt wet, and even the toilet paper was damp. The furniture was old and trashy, really beat up. Of course every morning it was a hill climb back to the parking lot. Whenever we asked for help with anything, the front desk man told us he was there alone and could not leave the desk to offer assistance. Breakfast was a joke at $13 each. My asthma condition was exacerbated by the horrible mold, smells and dampness in the room. Do yourself a favor, with so many other hotels nearby, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
