Booked a one night stay, first floor. Room was down, and up, 2 flights of stairs. Toilet was not bolted to floor, noisy and unsafe. No decaf Keurig pods, so had to walk up 2 dangerous flights for coffee, then back down carrying 2 coffees. Pool doesn’t open til 9 am, with 11 am checkout. When I contacted Choice Hotels with my concerns, they offered $100 rebate on $350 paid. Only get refund if you open a Zelle account, which I do not want. Told me I could choose a check, not so. First, and last time using this hotel brand.

Nice place near downton Ogunquit. Hotel staff very ice. Nice view in front of the river.
Good exercice clinbing the steps. Could be paintfull for peoples with knee's problems ..No elevator. Staff can bring luggages in the room.
I will return again for sure and this will be next summer.

This is a nice [ace to stay located between Ogunquit and Wells.
The views of the marsh and river are great - although I don't think all the rooms have great views. Try to get one of the King Rooms all the way at the left end of the property {if you are looking at he hotel from the front) The ones with the decks are great, The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated.
The lawn area by the water was nicely maintained. The pool area was clean and was h=great to cool off on a hot day

Absolute let down. I was so excited after reading the reviews and viewing photos to check in here. The room was like a maze to find. The entrance was through a slider on the back side a good distance from where you park with a lot of stairs. The room smelt so bad almost like a kid peed on the carpet. There were nail clippings on the floor. There were splash marks behind the toilet that dyed the wall a different color. Chunks of the shower were falling off and visual wear and some mold on the floor as well as it was dripping and wouldn’t stop. Spiders in the corner of the walls. Sprinklers spraying us as we tried to walk down the path to our room. The shower door actually fell off the track when we attempted to shower later that night. The bed was clean. We only stayed 1 of our 3 nights and decided to go elsewhere. The front desk staff were always friendly and apologized and understanding and have refunded our money. This may have been a fluke thing based on other reviews. I also could have sworn I saw photos of a hot tub. They could really use a hot tub out on the front looking over the marsh! Beautiful views !

The property is old & run down; nothing like the pictures online. The sink water stunk like sewer water & the other room our friends stayed at had an issue w/the shower water running outside of the shower. The hot tub by the pool is no longer in existence. The staff was accommodating, courteous & nice. I won’t stay here again.

Clean, great location, lovely views. Went off season and enjoyed it so much we plan to upgrade to the balcony next time for even better views. The breakfast buffet was less than in season, but it was pleasing; The front desk is extremely helpful.

The room was very clean . Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We arrived on 4 th of July and it was busy in the lobby,the staff had everyone on there way very quickly.
The views from the room is beautiful and we loved that we could relax on premises and and go kayaking.
Definitely will be back .

I somehow booked this hotel inadvertently and when I asked for help from the very rude man at the desk, he called me an idiot. Seeing he was totally dismissive and uncaring of my situation, I said to him well wouldn’t you be upset? His response was no because I wouldn’t be an idiot like you and book the wrong hotel. Can you imagine?
When I had booking.com on the phone to allow him to cancel, he YELLED at me and said I’m not talking on your phone. I asked for the phone number so they could call him and he seemed so annoyed at even that request!
Absolutely terrible way to be treated and for that reason I will never book with this hotel in the future.
He could care less about my problem and could not be less helpful in trying to cancel that reservation.
Totally and I mean totally unacceptable and inexcusable behavior!

Great hotel, great location and great views! We have been staying in this area for over 20 years now and this hotel seems to be a hidden gem. Our friends have a house near footbridge beach and the price was great, it was easy to get to our friends, the beds were extremely comfortable (which is not always the case in this area), and the views were spectacular! We will definitely stay again!

The views were amazing, the room was comfortable, and the staff were all wonderful. We definitely felt taken care of and accommodated at every turn. The kayaking service offered at the inn was awesome and instruction was really clear and great for begginers. It was the highlight of our trip!

As per your question. if we have an elevator? Unfortunately We do not have one on any of our buildings. All upstairs room are accessed by one flight of stairs.
