Write a reviewBig hotel in wells Maine. We were looking for a room for 4 people instead of getting 2 rooms. Two large queue beds. Hotel was really well maintained and breakfast was filling. Everything was kept clean and daily made service was done for the three days we were there. They have a swimming pool and hot tub on site.

We booked the stay for the Labor Day weekend. The hotel layout is a bit different but the views from our room were beautiful. The deck/balconies were shared with the other rooms but it wasn't an issue at all.
The pool and the hot tub were at one end of the hotel near where you can rent kayaks. Even the views from there were nice.
The free breakfast was typical fair, good but nothing outstanding.
The staff was helpful and friendly.

The staff was very accommodating, the breakfast buffet was tasty and had ample choices, the views of the marsh were very pretty, and the pool was relatively quiet. The room was clean and very attractive with plenty of amenities like kitchenette, wi fi, hair dryer, a/c, etc. We had a very enjoyable experience again this year as we have over the past 10 years

We stayed here last weekend and while the photos look beautiful, the truth is it's on Route 1, which is busy and unfriendly to walkers. The property is over a mile from the beach in Wells, and over 2 miles from the Ogunquit public beach. The view from the room was beautiful, but there was limited activities to do on the property, with the pool small and set on the edge and the hot tub small as well. If you want an authentic Ogunquit experience, stay close to the village, within easy walking distance of marginal way and the town beach, both of which are the best Ogunquit offers.

Let's start with the fact that Ogunquit and the surrounding area is charming, friendly and lovely. Natural beauty that is almost overwhelming and a broad choice of ways to engage that beauty are just some of what makes the place so special.
The Ogunquit River Inn is situated in one of hundreds of amazing spots to take in this remarkable area. Situated on a river and marsh that lead to the Atlantic, the Inn overlooks a stunning wildlife preserve, with ocean in the near distance. The Inn is well situated to take advantage of many things to do and places to go, central to the area and is just minutes from I-95.
The Inn is totally renovated, tastefully decorated in understated, relaxing tones. The rooms are spacious and offer tremendous views from every room.
The staff was wonderful. Mike at the front desk, upon asking, gave us a great history of the Inn, some great local info, and. A guided tour of the lobby fish tanks. All of the staff were terrific and friendly. Great breakfast each morning. We did not have time to use the pool...but it looked crystal clear, and well kept as was the entire place.
A wonderful place to stay in a remarkable place. We will return and I hope soon.

We are indeed situated on a beautiful piece of property with incredible views of The Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. We spent all of last winter working to give the property an updated, modern look and we are always delighted to receive positive feedback on the new additions. We do try to make breakfast more than a standard continental which is why we offer some hot items such as the waffle makers and the healthy option of fruit and yogurt! Our pool is heated; as we speak the pool is not open. Typically the pool tempertaure is a steady 76-80*
