It was a short drive to Universal Studios. We also got discounted tickets through the resort. The location is conveniently near restaurants and outlet malls. A small grocery store is across the street. The hot tub's jets are a little too powerful and will splash you in the face, but since it was cold when we were there it was nice to have it. Check in was painless, and the resort staff responded quickly to requests for towels, laundry detergent, etc. The unit was clean and spacious, but could use some updating.

This resort is in a good location if you are going to the Universal Parks. Its about a 25 min walk to the parks if you want to save that $ 27.00 parking fee. Or the # 37 bus stop is about a block away and goes straight to the park for 2 bucks. Plenty of restaurants close also. The resort itself is pretty good. They are getting updated with beds and some of the furniture. The staff was very pleasant. The resort is very minimal on what they have on site. But right around the corner is fun spot a cool little amusements park with go carts and alot of other things. Kinda of old school.

This small resort is near lots of malls, restaurants and hotels and easy to get to if you don't mind city traffic. Both buildings face the pretty pool area that you see from your screened deck. Master bed is quite high. I needed to buy a step stool to get into bed at night. the upholstered living room furniture had stains that should be cleaned. Staff are helpful.

My daughter's departure was delayed due to hurricane causing flight cancellations. Resort was unwilling to extend the stay one night without charging ridiculous fee - more than it cost to stay the entire six days. Manager was extremely rude. Kicked her out into a hurricane without a car and she had to find another hotel to let her say ONE NIGHT. We will never return to this location and we will tell our friends to avoid this place.

My wife and I again stayed at Blue Greens Sunshine Resort in Orlando Florida. When it is just the two of us, we prefer The Sunshine over Blue Greens Fountains Resort. It a bit quieter. The Sunshine is on the opposite end of the I-Drive Parkway, but just as easily accessible. The absolute best feature for us, is the Hot tub baths in each of the rooms. They are great after a long day of shopping and site seeing. The Sunshine is also a bit slower pace, and a lot quieter. We find the Sunshine to be one of Blue Greens top resorts, very accommodating staff. The entire resort is small, clean and beautifully land scaped, great for a business trip, anniversary, or quick weekend get away.

We love staying at the Sunshine as it is off the beaten path of Orlando's tourist corridor, so it is quiet, but still close to everything needed. Wal-Mart is 10 minutes away for groceries and lots of restaurants around the area. Amenities at the resort are good, and staff is very friendly.

This hotel definitely has plusses and minuses. Our rooms were very nice. The front desk is a bit hard to find and the location of the hotel is a little odd. The staff were very nice and every room has a screened-in porch. It's not convenient to go to Disney but is for Universal.

This is a beautiful place. We came to spend Easter weekend with the family. We were blessed with this beautiful resort. Everything about it was nice.
Tyler and the rest of the staff were so friendly. The grounds were beautiful. It’s a very small resort but offers tennis, basketball, grilling, cornhole and ping-pong. The pool is really nice and the Jacuzzi was great.
It was right in front of Fun Spot America which was awesome, the kids could walk there and back, without us worrying.
The only thing missing was a long mirror so we could check our outfits.
We will be back here, Lord willing.(with a full length mirror packed.)

The location of the resort is very convenient to the parks and fun center. The rooms were cleaned and the appliances were well-kept. Location to Sea world was less than fifteen minutes, also to Disnay and universal Studios

I’d love to be able to review this hotel but they canceled our reservation the DAY OF while we were on the way to the airport. I don’t understand how a room we had reserved for MONTHS is suddenly not available. But BEWARE- there is something sketchy going on here.

You walk 200 yards to the main road and get the trolly ( if you don’t have a car) to the outlets 1 mile away they are massive and will take you more than a day do see every shop there properly . There is also a small few outlets just across from the hotel like Adidas and American Golf:: You are correct in that Universal is just across the Highway enjoy your stay
