We are in Ogunquit for a few days and were looking for a restaurant that we hadn’t tried before. I read the reviews on here and people raved about the seafood stuffing in particular the baked stuffed haddock. I had that dish and my husband had the baked stuffed scallops. We each had fresh perfectly cooked green beans and baked potatoes. Both entrees were excellent and prepared with very fresh fish! Our waitress was Alex and she was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!!

There seems to be something for everyone here and I was feeling super hungry so had the steak tip and scallop special. Excellent. Tips were cooked as ordered and the scallops were nice large deep-sea variety. The waitress was really on top of things and very accommodating. I would definitely go back.

My husband and I stumbled on Stutsey's about five years ago and we make sure to come by for dinner any time we travel to the area. We've never had a very long wait time, but this is one place that's worth a wait if there is one. *Everything* is delicious, awesome atmosphere, and the staff could not be friendlier. You won't be disappointed!

Too busy, long wait to even speak to a host - and they refused to do take out after I’d waited 5 minutes to speak to a host. Come on. Not everyone is comfortable eating inside still - it was a Tuesday night at 7, not Saturday at 6. I won’t be back - it was a waste of time, and the sign on the door said ‘we may or may not do take out’ or something to that effect; if I can’t count on you, Stutseys, I’m not wasting my time.

I'm sorry that you feel like we are a waste of your time and you can't understand why we have to do some things a certain way. The reality is we are adjusting to these times yet again with less help, more expenses and more critical people. We have a certain capacity to create hot meals within a certain time frame. Rather than tell you you can pickup your take out at 8 or 9PM we stop taking take out orders. Why should a take out order take less time then someone who waited in line for a table? You yourself said we were busy not to mention it was 95 degrees and humid on a Tuesday. Hopefully you bring your patience out with you because even when you find a great place they have their moments too.

Very disappointed!! I feted first 3 adults and 1 child while vacationing. We picked up and coke slaw, tarter sauce and silverware were not in bag. Meat wasn’t cooked like asked and portions were very small😔. Called and talked to someone who really didn’t care. Will not go back!

We had a simple meal...chicken sandwich, chick fingers and mozzarella sticks. Overall the food was good. FF and Mozzarella sticks could have been cooked a little more but overall tasty. Peanut Butter cake was quite good. Service was quick and friendly

Unfortunately for us this was not a good experience. The waitress was nice enough, not overly attentive, but o.k. But the food! I had Shrimp Scampi and best I can describe it is that I had a huge plate of very dry pasta with very little scampi sauce and about 6 small shrimp. The shrimp seemed to be frozen ones that were thrown in. I tried to get more scampi sauce but waitress was hard to get. My husband had steak tips which he said were not great and didn't really enjoy them at all. Safe to say we will never go back.

Best Baked Stuffed Haddock around (home made stuffing that is amazing!). This is a local pub, where you will see lots of locals! The staff has gone above and beyond during the pandemic, trying to adjust to regulations but have consistantly run this restaurant like pros. One of our favorite spots in the area.

I finally tried Stutesy's after driving by it several years. I got their signature house margarita (very good) and the "Stutesy steak tips" (delicious). Their homemade BBQ baked beans were also very tasty. It's definitely a locals place "where everybody knows you name" at the bar, at least this time of year before Memorial Day Weekend. Nice old-school atmosphere.

Been driving by for years and decided to try this place out. Nice bar and sitting areas. Started with drinks and very good, reasonable prices. Next French onion soup, delicious. We both decided on the chicken parm subs and they were also very good. Kassie was our server and she was very pleasant and attentive. Overall a very nice experience and we will return. The menu has many choices to pick from and the prices are reasonable.

Having driven past Stutesy's many times, we decided to give it a try. There were four of us and between us we had two fish and chip plates and two pub burgers. Everything was done correctly but the food was decidedly average. Service was quick and friendly.

Was very disappointed about a shared meal charge. $24 for meal plus a charge. With 5 of us eating & drinking, thought this was not necessary. Steak tips were tough. Could barely get the knife through them. Stuffed mushrooms were excellent as was the baked haddock.

My mom and I were here on a recent Saturday for dinner. We were told it would be a 25-minute wait, but it was only about 10.
I ordered the clam chowder, which was very good. My burger was also good and cooked the way I requested.
My mom ordered the steak tip sub and enjoyed her meal as well.
Seems like a lot of locals go here, which is always a good sign. Definitely recommend!

This place seems to be a well kept secret with mostly locals going it seems. But this is our favorite restaurant when we come to Wells because the baked stuffed haddock with their own homemade seafood stuffing is consistently spectacular! I can't comment on any other meals, because we always get the baked stuffed haddock because it is just out-of-this-world delicious! Large portion size and beautiful quality fresh haddock. The staff are always friendly. Over the past 6 months we tried the stuffed haddock at 3 other Wells restaurants and Stuteseys is hands down the best by far!! Highly recommend!

We love Stutesy's for their personable wait staff and their menu........their considerate and patient chef and just a cozy meal on a cold November night after Thanksgiving.
We had chicken Alfredo and shrimp scampi. I would have liked a bit more flavor in my scampi, but the amount of shrimp and linguini made up for the lack of garlic. Their onion rings are excellent, their salad huge. The Alfredo was excellent!
We have eaten here other years, and found their burgers and fish to be tasty and filling. The bartender was kind to find us the football game we wanted, but was sorry this year and apologized that they were not connected to the Big Ten network, so we had to 'watch' the Penn State game against Rutgers on the crawl. The food made up for the disappointment. Thanks for trying!!! See you next November!
