We spent the afternoon and night here. Check in was fast and courteous. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job. Management should buy new towels, wash cloths, etc. As thrill are becoming grey with age. Due to Covid, restaurant was closed. Room service menu had a big variety. Service was fast and polite. Food was very good.

It's a great hotel. The receptionists are very friendly. I made the reservation online for four people, a double room, it has a beautiful view. It has several facilities such as a warm pool, a restaurant, etc. Without a doubt a good option for vacation.

Enjoyed this hotel. Centrally located. Pretty safe area. As always, just be aware of your surroundings. Very nice staff, free internet and multiple restaurants in the hotel. Some are rather pricey. Cigarette smoke can be annoying in a couple of the restaurants. If it is an issue, stress it up front. Upon arriving, I was brought directly to my room and check-in took place in my room. They unloaded my luggage and carried it just inside the doorway. This took roughly 15 seconds. I followed my luggage and the concierge greeted me by name and took me to my room for check-in. They must have made the effort to read my luggage tag quickly. The personal attention was very impressive. The in-room check-in was quick and private. Once checked-in, you are already in your room. Most of concierge staff speak excellent english. Best staff I've come across in Monterrey. They will help with any needed details for the cab drivers and will even negotiate cab fares up front for you. They give excellent, detailed directions. If something is not right, they will go out of their way to fix it if possible. This is an atrium type hotel. Live music in the evenings. Kind of loud. Thanks to a second in-room door, it muffles the sound to a level that can be ignored. Ice machines exist using purified water. English tv selections are above average. No in-room safes.

I was rebooked to this hotel by Hotels.com as the Galeria Plaza was under construction and they overbooked the hotel. The Premium rooms here are supposedly on the lower level where it’s very noisy. The view from the room is obstructed by the tilted roof of the pool below that’s also very noisy. The room is very outdated for a “4-star” hotel. The sheets on the bed are too small and come off when you’re sleeping. The thermostat is from when they first built the hotel no proper settings. Phone doesn’t work can’t call front desk, housekeeping, or room service. Closet is very tiny, their own hangars don’t even fit. The ironing board is stained and not from burns like normal. The shower head is only works on one setting, the attachment to it is rusty and don’t work. Shower curtain rod is barely hanging on and best part is lukewarm water at best.

The worst experience EVER from start to finish! Came here for Mexio Metal Festival Waited 3 hours for lugge (not hotels fault) Check in at hotel was absolutely atrocious, The staff appeared inexperienced, people sitting at beautiful tables eating no more then 20 feet from us, i could of just sat with them till they finished processing our checkin! Huge language barrier, ( not hotels fault but some sorta translation would been good) We were told we had to move rooms next day as one was on points and rest of was on CC, for the exact room type so i said ya no not happening! We went to the mini lounge of 6 chairs (bartending staff AMAZING) only to be told we cant charge to our room, back to desk we go to be told oh we have cc on file but i need to see it, not my problem, you got it at check in, then she said my husbands passport was reported lost/damaged. But finally got that sorted out ! (Now we are 3 hours into our hotel stay) we have no hot water and safe does not work! Go to order food for 1 clubhouse 1 hamburger (cooked well) 1 soup Burger went back raw and clubhouse didnt show up but on the ticket they had one clubhouse and one soup 🤦🏼♀️. All in All what a effen disaster This is only the first nite!!!!!! And we are diamond elite members! Restaurant for breakfast well they had no clue wtf we we’re doing, we asked of we could sit and order orange juice That took 30 minutes
That night we ordered. 2 clubhouses and 2 soups Waited over an hour for it Next morning ordered 2 breakfasts on phone lady put me on hold sat there 20 minutes Husband went down he wrote it down 60 minutes later eggs showed up The only good thing about this place is 2 men Staff at small mini bar and our bell concierge guy! This will be the only picture I add to show them they deserve recogniion for their outstanding work!

Terrible hotlel in every way. Room keys did not work multiple times each day. Breakfast choices were two items and fruit. Television in all rooms were mostly "snow". Bar closed by 7:30 each evening. Even by Covid standards, this was a terrible hotel, and I see no reason to go back.

They seem to have a central heating system which is always off. You can ask for it to be turned on but they only do it for a couple of hours then you wake up freezing again. Is NOT a one time thing, Ive stayed here several times (not my choice off course as I hate not having a heater or a/c) and it’s always the same problem.

What a treat to stay in such a first-class hotel! It was absolutely beautiful, with many amenities. The room was spacious, had plenty of hot water, great water pressure, super cold A/C, and a comfortable bed. I wish all hotels were this nice and clean.

Is an old and careless hotel, noisy and expensive. The staff have a good attitude but the rest of the experience is horrible. No good food, is a noisy hotel, they allow loud parties, no guest orientation, the F and B is a mess, no maintenance and filthy facilities.

Four of us checked in at 11:30pm and were met with a smiling staff, with our reservations already processed, and were whisked up to our hotel room. The rooms were very nice. Double doors to the outside atrium were crucial. It turns out, as other reviewers have mentioned, the band was playing and you can hear it in your room.
We decided to have dinner and take in the music. It was actually great. The three women singing and dancing were just campy enough to make it a truly enjoyable evening. The restaurant menu, available 24 hours a day, was limited but passable. I went for the Mexican fare, tortilla soup and enchiladas, both of which were excellent. My colleague went with the pizza which was not up to U.S. standards. The second act came on around midnight and played until 1am, which was also last call in the hotel.
Back in the room, the bed was extremely comfortable and the work area was functional. The TV channel selection was extensive, which was a nice change from the rest of the week in Mexico City and smaller towns.
If I had to complain, The $3.00/min phone calls hurt a bit. Apparently Verizon cell phones work in Mexico so you may want to stick to that.
In all, a highly recommended hotel in the $100 range.
