Built in 1912, one of the oldest hotels in Regina and has not changed much.
Joni Mitchel stayed at the Empire Hotel in the 1960's and wrote a song about it.
It isn't pretty but if you want to stay in a place where the working man has stayed from 1912 on, give this a try. The nostelgia is still there.
No surprises here there are some long term hotel guests, it is across from Robin's Donuts and not too far from downtown, the stadium where the rough riders play, etc. There is a pub and the price is good, it is an experience.
