- Samantha W0 contributionsThis is a New England MUST DO!! Captain Dereck gave us the best two hour lobster fishing and sightseeing tour we could have asked for! He's incredibly kind, knowledgeable, PHENOMENAL with kids and letting them get involved on board! You can really tell he loves what he does. We went with a party of 10 and he arranged two boats for us and we came home with lobsters ready to cook! He even held on to the lobsters for us while we finished up the last leg of our vacation until we could come back to pick them up from him. - Frank TJefferson, ME0 contributionsGreat time fishing! We caught lots of haddock, pollack, and even a cusk. Our biggest fish were Atlantic cod to bad we can't keep them. - Shannon GConcord, NH0 contributionsWe had a great morning with Mark. Started early and headed out in search of bait fish. Fishing was fun, though quiet on the fishing front so spent time pulling up Mark’s lobster cages as well. The kids (12 and 14) enjoyed the fishing but really took to the lobstering. I knew nothing about lobstering, so this was a neat experience for me too— helped me understand how much work lobstering is when you see how many have to go back to sea.
Mark was very friendly, easy going and the kids took to him quickly. He was patient with the kiddos and obviously enjoys what he is doing.
