We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Milan, we stayed at the Hilton and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
We arrived very late on the Friday evening but we were still met with a smile and a very fast check in, especially when we just wanted to get to the room and rest after travelling.
The breakfast came as part of our exec upgrade that we arranged on Standby and were delighted we got this as it was a special trip for us, the breakfast was great and again the staff were just brilliant. I can't fault any of them.
The room was lovely, we were met with a fruit salad, cheesecake and bottle of water and this was really nice and tasted good too!
The bed was most comfortable thing I have ever slept on, I wanted to take it home :)
We did have an issue with electric in the room, none of the plugs were working but this was solved within 20 mins of reporting it which was great.
The only let down of the stay was we had very noisy neighbours and this ruined it a little, I mention we arrived late on the Friday, it got to just after 1am and I had to go to reception as we just could not sleep, the room next door sounded like 3 or 4 children having a party. The reception phoned the room instantly whilst I was there and asked they reduce the noise, whilst it didnt make much difference - we had some ear plugs and managed to get through the few days with them.
It is a shame as it did leave a slight sour taste that some guests can be so disrespectful especially with children and being awake at 1am and speaking so loud/screaming / watching TV on full etc
This is in no way fault of hotel though hence the 5 stars and we would definitely return, the staff did what they could and we would definitely return as its in such a great place, 5 mins to main station and 20 min walk to the cathedral etc

After landing at Linate Airport, we easily caught one of the five-Euro buses that run between the airport and Milan's Central Station.
We found the Hilton to be only a five-minute walk from the station (turn right once outside the front entrance, and then turn right again) and were warmly welcomed at the front desk. Our room was well appointed, comfortable, and quiet, and the morning buffet is very good.
A true highlight for us as a longtime Hilton Diamond household was the Executive Lounge. The food offerings were good (the carpaccio was especially tasty), the wine and spirits choices were more than adequate, but what truly impressed us were the two male employees who circulated continually around the room, replenishing wine glasses and serving as welcoming hosts.
We tried unsuccessfully to get their names for a special commendation when checking out, so we'll commend them here and let Hilton know that those two employees are great ambassadors for the brand.
On any future trip to Milan, this will definitely be our first choice of hotels.

Hilton Milan is a few minutes walk from Centrale, the main train station. It's a 20-30 min or quick train ride to the main shopping area around the Duomo.

Otherwise, i really loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again-- if only for the cheese.

I appreciated the upgraded room I was given at check in, which was handled promptly and efficiently. The hotel is within walking distance and just a few minutes away from the central train station, which also provides access to two lines of the city’s excellent subway system. The room was well and attractively furnished. The buffet breakfast was excellent and well-designed in terms of choices and in discouraging the spread of the Covid virus. The lobby lounge was used as the executive lounge; the service there was friendly and excellent. Expect to pay about 20 Euros for a taxi to Linate airport but note that there is also periodic bus service to Malpensa and Linate from the far side of the train station.

We stayed at the Hilton in Milan for 2 nights and we were upgraded to a superior room, which was very nice. The staff at the hotel were superb, very courteous and friendly.
Our room was well equipped, very quiet and spacious. I know some of the reviews say the rooms are outdated and to some extent that is true, although I've found many hotels in Italy to be slightly antiquated, although this has not detracted much from our stay.
The hotel was really easy to locate and such an excellent location as it's so close to the main station. I would stay there again if visiting Milan.
The purpose of the trip was a celebration for my mum's Birthday and the hotel provided amazing special touches by leaving cake and prosecco in the room - thank you very much to Gianna.
Breakfast at the Hilton was excellent - lots on offer, fresh produce and caters to dietary requirements, one of the best hotel breakfasts i've experienced.
Gianna and the Hilton Milan team made our stay extra special and I would recommend staying here.

We’ve stayed at Hilton Milan a couple of times now which is a reliable hotel only a few minutes walk away from Milan Central station. As Hilton Gold we were upgraded to a larger room which is well furnished although starting to show slight wear and tear. Due to the current COVID situation the breakfast experience was subpar at best, which was absolute chaos due to understaffing.
All in all, we will probably return when passing through next time.

Stayed here in January 2020 for some tourism in Milan. Hotel is located within a block of train station which is great for touring around Italy and also using the Metro to get around Milan. Stayed in a room that was supposed to be a "junior suite' - it was really more of a large room with an alcove and had a ridiculously small bathroom. We used points to stay here; otherwise I would probably stay somewhere with a bit more charm.

Although the rooms are slightly dated, the service Is excellent, it’s in a good location and the breakfast buffet is one of the best we’re even had. Housekeeping was quick and efficient and made up our room beautifully each day— including organizing clothing and shoes. The sheets and towels are high quality and it’s a quiet room— no outdoor street noise. One nice perk is that there is an Aldi right next door for quick inexpensive snacks and drinks.

We stayed here for our birthday weekend. The hotel was rather pricey, but to me it felt worth every penny. It was a short walk from Milan Centrale and very easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The concierge remembered us and knew exactly when we would want our taxi booked for dinner, the barman made a lovely pimms, and one of the porters was kind enough to ask about how I hurt my foot and seemed genuinely concerned. I could not fault a single member of staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the cleaners were lovely too. The bathroom always smelled fresh and clean after the cleaner had been in (and I love that! A job well done!). Breakfast was nice, not quite what u was expecting, but I always found something to eat every day. The sound of the traffic outside was quite noisy—lots of sirens throughout the night, but we were at the front of the hotel by the road, so that was to be expected.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you Hilton Milan, it was a pleasure!!

The Hilton is situation very close to Milano Centrale station, and also near to the bus stops for Linate, Malpensa and Bergamo airports.
My room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had both shower and tub.
Breakfast was really good. Due to my need to get an early airport bus, I ate at 07.00 and there was an excellent choice of items, plus an egg station for omelettes etc..
I used the bar on the ground floor and although the drinks were a little expensive, free snacks were provided with them.
My one night stay cost around £150.
My room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had both shower and tub.
Breakfast was really good. Due to my need to get an early airport bus, I ate at 07.00 and there was an excellent choice of items, plus an egg station for omelettes etc..

With. I’m room safe shampoo and conditioner I do know that is provided by the hotel in the room.
About the 3 pair of sleepers I really don’t know but I’m sure that the amazing hotel staff will do their best to get that for you

I would say early check in No ! We got there and our room wasn’t ready so we left the bags and went out to the city
Hotel was very busy at the time and of course the high status card holders are allowed late check outs so it will ultimately depend on the day
Email them about a day room as they can possibly give you a reduced rate
The hotel is perfect for exploring Milan on your own. We walked all around Milan. Also within a block from the hotel is a subway station and street bus stops. I doubt if the hotel offers trips; however, within Milan there are numerous travel locations offering day trips through Italy and beyond. I can’t help you on your New Year’s Eve question.
