The hotel is located 2 blocks from the Centrale Station, about a 5-minute walk.
Staff at the front desk was very welcoming, bags taken to our room and all the amenities of the hotel were explained by the bellmen.
Our room was very large, with a small terrace facing the main street, very modern and comfortable, with a mini bar and safe in the closet.
Breakfast was outstanding, many offerings and cook to order items The selection of food extensive and very welcoming staff. The restaurant manager came to our table on all 3 mornings and talked to us. Executive lounge; very comfortable with lots of snack's choices and beverage offerings.
One of the best Hilton Hotels I have stayed in a long time.
Extremely happy we chose to stay here.

Why? With so many other better options, WHY? would one choose to stay at this property? The only good reason that I can think of is, Hilton status. Yes, I stayed at this hotel specifically because Hilton upgraded me because I have gold status. Bottom line, it was not worth it. Yes, there is a breakfast buffet that is plentiful and mostly delicious, but I could not get a server to bring me a cup of coffee to save my life...and except for one person (Maria) the wait staff was indifferent at best. Based on my mediocre experience, I came to the conclusion that this property exists solely to serve it's airline corporate clientele and other corporate clients that are familiar with the Hilton brand.

The room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The A/C kept the room cool, and the room had all the amenities one would need. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is very good with a great variety of food, and if Salvatore waits on you, you will come away feeling like royalty. There is parking if you drive in, and a grocery store next door. There is a taxi stop right in for the of the hotel. This hotel is very close to the Milan Central Station where you can catch a train out of town, a train to the airport, or the metro (M3) into downtown. If you time it right, you can be at the Duomo Square in less then 20 min (4 metro stops) from the train station. You don’t need to buy a ticket to the metro… just use your credit card to tap in and out and you are all set. When we come to Milan, we’ll stay here again.

We stayed here as family of 5 and were able to get interconnecting rooms which was great - the kids room had 2 singles and very comfortable rollaway bed.
Breakfast was fantastic. Pastries , fresh orange juice, cereals , omelettes to order, fruit, meats etc. we also had executive lounge access which was handy to grab coffee or drink/fruit/crisps for kids during day and had evening reception 6-8 pm with wine, beer, spirits and some small appetisers in evening(it got busy )
Short walk to central station where we got Metro. (4 stops to Duomo) or walk took about 35mins. Sightseeing bus also started here. We also took train to Lake Como (Varenna) one day which took about 1hr 10 mins and was a great day out. Aldi next door which was handy for snacks.
The rooms were outdated , shower very hard to work and furniture old so for this reason not 5 star. However beds were very comfortable (even the rollaway) rooms were large . I emailed ahead also as had early arrival and our rooms were ready .
. Staff all very pleasant. Overall great stay in Milan and good hotel for families especially as they have interconnecting rooms which can be hard to find in large cities

Prior to my stay the Hilton contacted me to go online & obtain a digital key & select my own room to speed up the check in process. It was an absolute waste of my time. In the end I couldn’t get the digital key & the room I selected wasn’t available upon my arrival!?!?
The hotel location is fantastic if you need to be near the central station. There’s also a taxi stand just outside. Use the Free Now app for taxis, the best we used in all of Europe.
The hotel itself is lovely, however, the carpet in the corridors & rooms are looking a little tired.
The standard rooms are a nice size & the bathrooms spacious. Bed was perfect to sleep on. Only wish the timber bed bases weren’t protruding on the corners as we managed to knock our legs against them more than once.
All the staff we engaged with were lovely & very helpful.
We’d definitely stay here again if the price is right.
Finally, their restaurant CotoliAMO is exceptional. Try the stuffed veal cutlets!

My daughter and I recently stayed at this hotel during a one day stay in Milan. We needed to be close to the train station and chose Hilton. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. The room and hotel were clean and the front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We have no complaints and would stay here again. The hotel is located a short cab ride away from Il Duomo/La Scalia and it was very easy to find a taxi outside of the hotel.

There's a few things that make the stay no longer a competitive 4 star experience besides the service: old furniture, abominable breakfast buffet.
The desk chair (pictured) has its pleather wearing off. Half the space in the "king suite" is occupied by the bed. There doesn't appear to be fan extraction in the bathrooms.
Few items in the buffet breakfast are palatable. Stick to the bread basket and omelette station. The deli cuts are dry. The hot items in the breakfast are lackluster and overcooked: wilted bok choi, mushy gyoza, bland boiled tomatoes. Flies emerge around the pineapple juice dispenser. Oranges pop off the overfilled orange juice machine when people go to the juicer. Awkward.
A saving grace is that the location is a 5 min walk from the train station where you'll find much better food.

We used Hilton honors points for a one night stay for my wife's birthday and to celebrate the last time we came to Milan/Lake Como when we got married 23 years ago. The Hilton team upgraded us to a superb room on the 9th floor which was very unexpected and lovely - also there was some delicious cakes waiting for us when we arrived there - all in all genuinely terrific checkin experience. The duty manager Silvia and the concierge Pietro all contributed in different ways to making our stay really special and we very much appreciated it. Breakfast also very good and the area just outside the congestion zone which was useful as we were driving.

We are staying at the Hilton Milan this week and the service has been exceptional. This is the third time that we’ve stayed at this particular hotel as it is very close to the main train station which allows us to travel on one day train trips to places like Como, Verona and Bergamo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and although the executive club is not open we are provided similar privileges in the lounge as a diamond member. Special thanks to Gianna who is very helpful with restaurant recommendations and has went out of her way to make us feel special during our stay

I stayed at the Hilton Milan for 1 night in July 2022. It is a good, inexpensive option for Milan, especially when traveling by train since it’s less than a 5 minute walk from Milan Centrale station. The staff was very friendly and rooms were modern and clean, although bathroom were on the small side and not as updated. The breakfast buffet (free as a Diamond member) was a little chaotic and overcrowded but the food was ok. Food in and drinks in the lobby bar were good. The gym was ok and pretty standard for this type of hotel. It had dumbbells up to 24 kg, a cable machine, and a few other machines. Overall a good stay.

With. I’m room safe shampoo and conditioner I do know that is provided by the hotel in the room.
About the 3 pair of sleepers I really don’t know but I’m sure that the amazing hotel staff will do their best to get that for you

I would say early check in No ! We got there and our room wasn’t ready so we left the bags and went out to the city
Hotel was very busy at the time and of course the high status card holders are allowed late check outs so it will ultimately depend on the day
Email them about a day room as they can possibly give you a reduced rate
The hotel is perfect for exploring Milan on your own. We walked all around Milan. Also within a block from the hotel is a subway station and street bus stops. I doubt if the hotel offers trips; however, within Milan there are numerous travel locations offering day trips through Italy and beyond. I can’t help you on your New Year’s Eve question.
