My mom and I booked this hotel at the last minute due to a train strike that brought us to Milan early. We used our free night certificates. We were able to score the last twin- bedded room thanks to good communication between the Hilton representative through which I booked and the check-in staff. We found the room fairly basic for the 350 euros per night it would have cost us. However, the beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet despite facing a busy street. The buffet breakfast was amazing. It was probably one of the best I have experienced. From the honeycomb to the orange juicer to the pastries, I was in heaven. The restaurant that served dinner was also very inventive, albeit pricey. All of the staff were lovely and helpful. On our second day, we had to depart at 7 a.m., so the staff prepared box breakfasts for us with mini honey, nutella, and jam, crescent rolls, cheese, etc. There is a taxi stand right outside the hotel, which was very useful. The hotel is also a 5-7-minute walk to the central train station. All in all, it was a great stay and made me feel more committed to Hilton.
