An online search for restaurants near Milano Centrale station brought up this gem. We were attracted by the idea of Sardinian food, and we were not disappointed. We had 3 plates of culurgiones, the Sardinian equivalent of ravioli, between 2 of us - with octopus, squid ink and prawns, and lamb and asparagus. All absolutely delicious, and washed down with really good Sardinian white wine. And the service was great - so friendly. A fantastic start to our holiday!

A nice place with a friendly and welcoming Sardenian chief. The menue (online and by QR-Code) includes several antipasti, primi and secondi, mostly pasta dishes the Sardenian way. We opted for a seafood dinner (two antipasti, two primi, one shared secondo). It was all fresh and tasty. Washing it down with a bottle of Sardenian white wine (Vermentino) and finishing with two coffee, the bill came up to 120€. Not the cheapest, but fine. Hint: Don't expect big meat or fish dishes here.

My girlfriend and I arrived at the train station in Milan in the evening and just wanted to have a quick meal after checking into the hotel.
Luckily we found Ta Buno.
Immediately upon entering, we were greeted very warmly by Pablito, who had made our entire evening a true experience.
He took ample time to explain the menu to both of us tourists.
The food came quickly and was really delicious. The specialty of the house, Culurgiones, are truly recommended.
But what really makes us keep the evening in great memory is Pablito.
Although the restaurant would have closed at 11 pm, we were still served drinks. He took his time, sat with us and added so much to our evening that we didn't leave until hours after closing.

This was a very pleasant surprise.
The kitchen is at the front of the restaurant which means you can see the chefs at work.
The food was excellent as was the very friendly service.
Octopus, mussels, culurgoines…which we hadn’t eaten before, all perfectly cooked.
There was a family friendly atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome.
To top it off, we were given a small gift of their own olive oil.
We’ll definitely return the next time we are in Milan.

We needed a quick lunch between trains at Milan Centrale. The staff advised us and we took their advice. We had delicious light gnocchi-like dumplings in tomato sauce followed by a warm lemon-honey-ricotta tart, also delicious. The food came super quickly, as we needed, so we were very happy.

We booked this restaurant on our recent trip to Milan after readings all the great reviews. I was looking for an authentic Italian restaurant which wasn't your normal pizza/pasta type place and this did not disappoint!!
We arrived and there was only 1 other group in the restaurant which is surprising as I expected it to be busy. In fact after the other table left no one else came in which is a real shame as it deserved to be busy. I felt sorry for the chefs as they seemed only to stay open for our booking.
We ordered the party box to start which was lovely. We ordered a few different mains of culurgiones and 1 pasta dish. All arrived quickly and all were very tasty and fresh. We really enjoyed the food it was something we had never eaten before but it was all so good.
The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. The person that served us was so lovely and even tried to help us get a taxi back to our hotel.
This is definitely worth a visit if you want something different which is handmade and freshly cooked. I would definitely recommend.

Wow! My husband and I loved this restaurant! We made a quick walk (8mins) from the Westin Palace to Ta Bonu - so glad we did. Our waiter, Luca was charming and made excellent suggestions. The culurgiones were fantastic- light and so satisfyingly filling. The cuisine is delicious in its simplicity and freshness. We enjoyed a local beer and Sardinian wine with our meal. The team at Ta Bonu takes great pride in their Sardinian heritage and it shows. We would go back again and again. Molto Bene😘

I visited the restaurant with a dear friend. Was my first experience with Sardinian cousine, I love it. Davide has been amazing, very prepared and extremely friendly and professional! Davide gave a special touch to the experience. I really recommend this restaurant, try as many dishes as you can

I did not think we would find such authentic and delicious restaurant in the vicinity of the Milano centrale rail station. What a fantastic surprise! The food was absolutely delicious and the owner is such a sweet man, really personable. The culurgiones were amazing, to be truthful we didn’t have a single dish which didn’t exceed the expectations. Highly recommended

Really delicious!!! We often eat at very good Italian restaurants but had never had culurgiones / Sardinian food as such. These were soooo tasty. We could have eaten so many! We had carbonara and lamb ragout culurgiones and they were so al dente, simple, delicious and perfectly executed. If I had known about them earlier in my trip I would have come back every day! I highly recommend this place for something truly unique and delicious. A must for travellers.

We chose this based on reviews. Exceptional. Sardinian food and wine and staff.
Good English to help. Unassuming restaurant but clean and functional.
Pasta has so many exceptional flavours. We also had a lovely serving of pork fillet with fried sage an bacon!

We did our best to sample a variety of restaurants while in Milano. Can't say I'm a fan of the local cuisine, but trying to keep an open mind. Of all the places we ate in Milano, this was by far the best. We've been to Sardinia so are familiar with th food. But this was something different from the seafood found along the coast. Delicious food, beautifully presented, creative yet packed with flavor and all at a reasonable price. Don't miss this place.

A contemporary family run restaurant offering a warm welcome and delicious Sicilian food and wine. Great choices for all the family. An unexpected treat just a hop from Milano Centrale. Booking was easy and communication was good.

I found this as I was looking for a place convenient to the station area. Small inside but nice simple decor, very open and airy. The food was exquisite, beautifully prepared and presented. Our waiter was absolutely charming and very helpful. It was perfect for a relaxed Friday eve. The other people dining seemed very local which is a good sign. Sardinia flavours and wine was just divine.

Read the previous reviews of this restaurant and decided to check it out. We had been traveling throughout Italy and were looking for a new taste sensation. We were not disappointed! Had excellent service and some extremely tasty dishes not indulged in before. It was a refreshing change. Davide was our host and provided excellent service🥰
