The hotel is located right off of the central train station and subway system. Milan has a great subway system so getting around was very easy. Don't let the post-fascist exterior of the building scare you. The hotel is great. The rooms were very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The executive lounge was one of the more dinky ones that I've experienced but still nice to have. The front staff and concierge were efficient. Housekeeping was great and available at almost all hours. The wi-fi connection was great. The room service was better than most. They have coffee pots available in the rooms. Overall, it's a great hotel and very convenient for tourists or business travelers. I would stay here if I ever re-visited Milan (probably not going to happen since the whole city felt like I was stuck in the movie Zoolander).

This is my first time to Milan. My hotel stay was booked via our corporate travel.

Due to our group booking, I guess we were assigned basic rooms due to its small size.

I noticed the bathroom to be very tiny. One can actually brush your teeth at the sink whilst using the commode (am just saying not that I actually did that..... just visualizing).

My disappointment is not being upgraded to a larger room or having access to the Executive Lounge even with my HiltonHonors level of GOLD. I did inquire at check-in, but I was ONLY offered the courtesy of a free breakfast at the lobby restaurant tomorrow.

What’s my motivation to maintain my GOLD status or aim for a higher level when I’m not extended a basic courtesy commensurate to what I have achieved thus far? I wasn’t even thanked or acknowledged at front desk by the staff for being a GOLD statue at check-in. I think a training moment” can come out of this interaction.

I guess I’m just used to MARRIOTT HOTEL giving me basic recognition each time as its Platinum Elite member. Ummm? It’s my fault for expecting a Marriott Hotel level of courtesy at a Hilton Hotel. Perhaps, I should ask our corporate travel staff to book us elsewhere next time.

I’m going to end on a positive note. I was hungry at 1700 and was informed by a restaurant/bar staff that dinner is not served until 1900. After returning to my room, I looked through the room service menu for an option. I called and ordered the bongouli clams with linguini tossed in virgin olive oil. It was very tasty. Bravo for getting at least 1 thing right.

We stayed in this hotel in May for my boyfriends 30th Birthday, when we arrived the staff had laif out a bottle of Prosecco and some cake for us in our room upon our arrival which was a really nice touch.

The hotel is close to Central Station only approx 100 metres and only 2-3 stops from Duomi in the centre.

The room was a nice size and very clean, there was no in-room wifi that was free you could however sit in the lobby and access free WIFI down there.

The only thing I will mention is that on one of the nights we stayed we went to a football game at the San Siro and got back very very late, we looked at the room service and it was very expensive (it was a shame as we would have ordered but out of principal of nearly £20 a burger we didn't) so we went downstairs and asked on reception if there was anything near by that we could go to eat and was told that there was nothing at all near by....We decided to venture out anyway as we were starving and within 150m we found 3 places in a row all selling food, other than that mis-information it was good.

I stayed at the Hilton Milano for several days on business and would definitely stay there again.

The location is super-convenient, only 3 minutes walk from the Central Station where trains and shuttle busses service Malpensa airport. The room is perfect for a single traveller but if anyone wishes to stay there as a couple on a leisure trip, they would definitely be disappointed. However, as a business traveller focussed hotel it's absolutely perfect.

The bed (which is the most important thing for me) is very comfortable with lovely sheets and a mattress topper (standard for the Hilton hotels). The sheets were changed every day which was nice (although not really necessary). I found it very considerate that the house-keeping would always ask whether I needed a fresh towel as I don't mind using the same one for a couple of days and would hate wasting energy and cleaning products on washing tons of virtually clean towels.

The tea and coffee bags as well as mineral water were replaced regularly and it was a nice touch to be able to make a cup of herbal tea without leaving the room.

The coffee at the bar downstairs is superb. And so are dinners ordered via Room Service. Try the tiramisu, it was heavenly! :-)

Now the not-so-nice things were: THE SHOWER which I absolutely hated! The water goes awfully hot every 2 minutes and you have to learn the signs to be able to jump out in time before scalding your skin! The second disappointment was the fact that the bath tub was not cleaned every day and I ended up cleaning it myself with soap twice before taking a bath. I never make a mess in hotel rooms and my room was very clean at all times so I felt that the bath tub was simply neglected.

Overall, I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to any business traveller visiting Milan.

I stayed there in March but did get a chance to write my review earlier. i had booked this hotel for 2 nights during a business trip, firstly for the brand and secondly, location wise, it was very close to the metros and central station. The check in was smooth , the front office manager provided all the required information. The hotel was a little bit pricey but i was allocated a very spacious, clean and comfortable room, the bathroom was clean with clean towels and amenities provided, facilities in room (TV, WIFI,PHONE CALLS) was to the point.

I stayed there mainly for business so did not had a chance to have breakfast at the hotel but i had ordered "risotto with seafood" through the room service, it was very delicious and tasty.

The staffs were very kind and helped me to carry my luggage to my room , especially Antonio from the concierge department, he guided me for nice restaurants and good shopping areas :).

I was a little bit disappointing at the check out time since i was flying at night and had take n a late check out, a friend of mine who had stayed in another hotel, had kept his luggage at my room. Whilst settling the bills, a girl at the reception was assuming that two people stayed at the room and she has to charged city taxes for 2 pax when i clearly booked the room for one pax! Fortunately, the front office manager was at the reception and she recognise me since she did my check in. Being from the hotel industry, i would never book a room on single basis for double occupancy.

However, in short, it was a nice experience. I would like to thank the front office manager, sorry i cannot recall her name after 3 months and Antonio for his kindness.
