We went there and they treated us badly because we were foreigners. Seems they only like locals here. Better go and watch your movies at home.

TThe cinema it's comfortable and clean, it has most of the main box office movies, and they are all in English. They have good sound and the seats are quite new. I have gone two times and I had no problems at all. I have to say it's the best cinema in English I found in Barcelona

Opted for a cool afternoon in the cinema with 2 young kids (11 & 6) - a great day to spend the afternoon in high summer - theater rooms are relatively small but this place is a gem outside of Barcelona. It is very clean and Buying tickets is also a breeze and we could wait at one of the Kumato cafe just 50m ahead

This is the cleanest and most convenient cinemas complex we have experienced in Europe. Very friendly staff with latest movies in English. The property is amazing and the restrooms were crystal shines. Not crowded at all even in weekends. A must experience.

To watch movies in their original language, the classics in Barcelona are Verdi, Renoir and Icaria. However, they are all unfortunately showing their age, especially Renoir. The Balmes has the advantage of being brand spanking new and having very well designed theaters with large screens and comfy seats. You won't find any movie here that you cannot find in any of the others, and it's a bit out of the way for most, but this cinema just cannot be beaten for comfort.
