    Carolyn was a great guide
Carolyn was a wonderful tour guide. We learned so much about the history of the city and the language. She was super considerate that we had our dog with us and engaging with adults and teenagers alike. Finished near the old town with some nice local recommendations and places to go for lunch. Thoroughly recommended.

    Good tour guides
Very nice guides. I accidentally booked a tour in French and they switched it at the last minute to English. They are very helpful.

    Thomas was such a mensch!
We had Thomas as our guide and he was wonderful and so charming! Our group of friends and I enjoyed the art and the fun facts we learned about Montreal. When the tour finished, Thomas suggested where to eat and have a drink in the neighborhood. I would very mch recommend!

Excelllent guide! Very passionate about the topic, personable, and knowledgeable!
I wish I had our guide’s name…he was fantastic! Our group of 8 on June 26 at 2:30 p.m. ET very much enjoyed our private walking tour. The tour was easy to book online and I chatted with a rep. to request a start of 2:30 instead of 2, and that was easily accommodated. The guide was already there when we arrived 15 minutes early, and we started right away. A lot of interesting information was shared… I won’t give it away… but our group of both locals and out-of-towners left a lot more knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour! Tip: bring water, go potty before the tour, where comfortable walking shoes (for cobblestone too).

Excellent! A Great Feel for the City and History
Admittedly, we got off to a rocky start. Guidatour is not good at communicating. We arrived at the meet-up location but couldn't find our guide for about 15 minutes. I called the company and got hung up on twice. (Also, they never sent the guide's name or contact info by email, as I've come to expect from travel companies.) But luckily, a kind doorman helped us out. Once we connected with our guide, Renee, we had an amazing tour. Renee was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us entertained with trivia questions. He also gave us recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and other activities.Overall, totally worth it!

    Great tour of Old Montreal!
This was a wonderful way to learn about the history of Montreal and get a feel for the old part of town. It's very historic and there are many interesting buildings and landmarks. Our guide was great and we feel we really got our money's worth. I highly recommend this tour!

    Small group, great guide.
On my trip to Montreal I had a day where I was alone, so I booked this tour. We ended up being only 6 in the group. The guide Sarah was amazing. passionate, funny and knowledgeable. would absolutely recommend. Cheers.

Me and my fiancé where looking for something to do around my mate's apartment who was hosting us. we had limited time and we didn't want to go to the old port again. so we booked this and went for a poutine after. It was surprisingly really interesting. the guide was funny and kept the group engaged. also montreal is just a really nice city to walk through and discover. I don't think we would have noticed all the street art, if it wasnt for this tour.

    outside the box experience
went on this walking tour of murals in montreal. the whole tour is outside. for us it was sunny but chilly so dress accordingly. the guide was nice funny knowlegeable. she gave us tips on where to eat afterwards. I personnally loved the lenght of the tour but my wife was a bit tired as she has knees issues. so i would also recommend wearing good shoes. we were looking for something less touristy than the classic tours and were happy with this one cause it takes you into less known areas of the city.

    Excellent mural tour and guide
My husband and I had an excellent tour with Sarah who was one of the best guides we’ve ever had. We really enjoyed viewing the murals and learning about the art form. Sarah was very knowledgeable, full of interesting commentary about the history of the mural festivals and the artists as well as the history and culture of Montreal. We would highly recommend both the subject matter and the guide.

    Wonderful introduction to Montreal
Despite the chilly morning, our guide, Stacy provided very interesting details about the architecture, history and business competition in 18th & 19th century Montreal. She was attentive to our interests, and we recommend her highly

    Great and original tour!
This tour was really fun and original! It makes you visit a part of town that is less touristy and makes you appreciate urban art within it's historical and societal context. Our guide Élise was bubbly and knowledgable! When we come back to Montreal we could redo the tour because the murals are always changing!

Our walking tour with Pierre was the best we’ve ever been on. Some guides just deliver a steady stream of facts, but he offered the right depth of geographical and social context to really understand the whole picture. It was a great 90 minutes, and we’d gladly do another tour with this crew the next time we’re in town.

We took the 2-part tour, East and West. It was very interesting and our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. There was a 1 hour break for lunch in our own. We had barely enough time to find a place to eat and make it back to the meeting place. The tour might be more enjoyable if started earlier and run for continuous 3 hours, maybe with a short break for quick refreshment.

Sarah was phenomenal. I give tours at a museum in the DC area and it’s important to be a good storyteller to keep your visitors engaged, which she did superbly. Learned a lot about Old Montreal, its origins and history, and appreciated that she included a lot of information about First Nations tribes and their part of the story. Ten stars!

We had a bit trouble finding the group at first, but overall it was a wonderful and interesting walking tour. We first worried that the schedule will be too rush, but it turned out to be just fine. Shout out to our friendly guide, Diane, she’s very knowledgeable about the history of old Montreal

One suggestion to the company: at the start point, make your employees easier for tourists like us to find among large crowds of other people. It was hard to distinguish them without calling the customer service for help, at least until the moment when I write down this review.

We're delighted that you found the tour wonderful and interesting, and we appreciate your kind words about Diane's knowledge and friendliness. We apologize for the difficulty you experienced in finding our group initially. Please note that on busy days, we have a dedicated person on site who dispatches the groups. My wife and I did the East and West tours, with an hour break in between for a quick bite, and they were well worth it! Scheduling and weather prevented us from taking this tour on our first day in the city; I suggest you take it the first day if timing permits. Andre was our guide for both and did an amazing job throughout our tour. From answering our group questions to sharing what was important to know along our walking tour, time flew by. I highly recommend you take this tour to learn more about Montreal!
