Maternal & Infant Health Partners & Resources

Michigan's diverse and expansive maternal and infant health partners and stakeholders work on an array of initiatives to improve health outcomes. Many resources are available through these collaborative partnerships, including data, advocacy, and services for Michigan families.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is committed to developing and sustaining strong and equitable collaborative partnerships to truly assure we are working together. MDHHS acknowledges the importance of the many stakeholders working to improve mother, infant, and family outcomes. When all resources and stakeholders work together in alignment, improved maternal and infant health outcomes will become realized.

Bereavement Resources

Michigan FIMR offers maternal, pregnancy, and infant loss support resources. With the tragic loss of a pregnancy or an infant, it is important that families receive grief and bereavement support during this extremely difficult time. We encourage maternal infant health partners to refer to the resources and connect families to these services.
