• The Saturn 2021 Weatherization Field Guide presents procedures to analyze and retrofit existing buildings for energy efficiency, health, safety, and durability under the Department of Energy’s Weatherization Assistance Program. This field guide is hyperlinked to DOE’s Standard Work Specifications for Single-family, Multifamily, and Manufactured Homes. 

Community Services Policy Manual (CSPM)

• Community services policy manual department of energy policy for weatherization assistance program. The Community Services Policy Manual (CSPM) defines policy in the administration of funds provided to Community Action Agencies. Weatherization CSPM Series are listed below.
  • 600 Series – DOE Weatherization
  • 700 Series – LIHEAP Weatherization
  • 1700 Series – BIL Weatherization
  • 2100 Series – Preweatherization WxDEF

Weatherization Program Notices & Memorandums (WPN’s)

• The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) is governed by various federal regulations designed to help manage and account for the resources provided by DOE. Each year, Congress passes a Weatherization Assistance Program Appropriation. Active and archived Weatherization Program Notices and Memorandums establish the framework for administering WAP funds

Michigan Energy Audit Guide

• The Michigan Energy Audit Guide lays out a step-by-step approach to performing energy audits within Michigan’s WAP. The BCAEO and MiTEC continue to work closely together to provide the resources and training necessary to ensure Michigan’s energy auditors can perform their work at a high level of performance.
