Division of Child & Adolescent Health

The Division of Child & Adolescent Health (DCAH) provides an array of public health programs, initiatives and interventions aimed at promoting the health and well-being of young children, the K-12 population including adolescents, and young adults. Our goal is to work across systems and with our state and community partners to ensure that infants grow and thrive throughout childhood, adolescence and successfully transition into adulthood with optimal physical and social-emotional health and wellness.

The DCAH is comprised of the Early Childhood Health Section, the Child, Adolescent, and School Health Section, and the Oral Health Unit.  Some of the key programs and initiatives of this Division include:
