    Very nice green space to stroll around or walk through, and its free.
    Situated to the East of Barcelona in the El Born district, this green space is on the site of a former military fortress, the Citadel, which was here until 1869 when the government official General Prim ordered the demolition of the building and the return of the land to the city and his statue on horseback is one of many throughout the park. However, the most impressive is the Monumental Waterfall, which is the Parc de la Ciutadella’s most eye-catching feature and opened in 1881. It is the work of the master builder Josep Fontseré, who was appointed to undertake the transformation of the area but was assisted in the Waterfall by a young Antoni Gaudí. It is also home to the Parlament de Catalunya building that was built in 1932.

    Good city zoo
    Good sized zoo with a wide variety of animals. Not many food options though and a lot of the stands and cafeterias were closed when we went. Maybe because it wasn't quite their peak season yet? It didn't feel particularly busy and we went during the may half term holiday. We managed to get half price tickets as we booked it months in advance our visit was a bargain but even at full price, when I compare it to similarly priced zoos in the UK, I think you get value for money

    Fabulous Monument
    This was the highlight of the Parc de la Ciutadella for me. It was significantly bigger than I thought it would be, with so many intricate details to look at. The emergency measures caused by the ongoing drought meant the fountains were not operating, but it was still amazing to behold. A lovely place to take pictures.

    Lively sea front area most times of day.
    As others have said a former industrial area that was regenerated for the Olympics and now home to Barcelona’s main sea front marina with its associated restaurants and bars. A very nice area for a sea front stroll.

    Famous beach
    One of the most famous beaches in Barcelona.

    I found it to be very crowded but i guess that’s expected when a beach is so close to a large city.

    It’s at the end of the Rambla so that adds to the attraction feature .

    On the Seaside Walk
    Very photogenic and impressive big piece of outdoor art located on your walk along the waterfront and beach areas. Beach cafes are all around. Lots of people strolling by.

    Kiss of death
    Great place for a wonder never seen a cemetery like it some of the statue's are works of art place is huge one of the best statues is called the kiss of death worth the wonder just to find it

    Beautiful beach. Just be mindful of belongings and sellers
    We rented beds and parasols for the day. €45 for two beds with parasol. We were there for a whole day. It was nice to relax after a few full on days walking around.
    The beach sellers are persistent and they can be very annoying. Not sure they understand personal space.
    Please make sure you are paying the right person for the beds. They will have a card reading machine and you’ll get a receipt! They will also give you a small table (so they can see who has paid) The beach sellers will do anything for a quick buck! No one should be charging you to sit on the sand!
    There’s are restaurants and bars close by and a small parade of shops where you’ll find a Burger King. Taxi rank close by (near the Casino) Taxi from La Rambla to the beach and back was €9 each way.
    Also a brilliant place to search for sea glass.

    Nice walk

    What a fantastic afternoon!
    Fun, chilled and relaxed environment! The perfect way to spend an afternoon after the beach chilled out with friends and good company.

    Fantastic service, all staff are very polite and knowledgeable. Overall 10/10 experience.

    Cool night club
    It's very expensive, especially inside, but it's very cool. Has different types of music per room, very big venue and very fun to dance on.

    The only problem is the big line, but it was pretty fast to get through. Felt pretty secure with the amount of guards that were there and had no problems whatsoever getting in. Need to buy tickets online though.

    Virtual visit
    We are in lockdown now for almost 6 weeks and the wonderful chaps at Edge have given us an amazing service and made lockdown a better experience. If order early even same day delivery straight from the cold room of the brewery. We are working our way through all of the beers and while we have personal faves all are extremely well made. A good range of styles and flavours that are always well balanced (and Less important but also good concepts and designs for each beer). Top marks to Edge. 10/10 Cheers!

    Rossi is amazing
    Rossi made our night, she was so helpful and lovely. Would definitely recommended anyone to go there, particularly if Rossi is working because she was amazing!
