It was my nephew's 1st birthday and we were staying in the hotel in order to facilitate a visit with us and his parents and the staff went above and beyond and decorated the room with signs and balloons.
They also greeted us with noisemakers and sang happy birthday to the little guy. This type of gesture goes such a long way and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.
They provide an exceptional experience that goes above and beyond every single time. We have used this hotel many other times for these types of visits and the staff have taken the time to get to know baby's name and they are so friendly.

My latest extended stay for work at the Canalta St. Paul was again outstanding. The rooms & amenities are excellent including an outside bbq and patio area for guest use, The front desk staff & general manager exceed my service expectations as always and make you feel like a valued VIP. The housekeeping staff and maintenance team keep the place very clean daily. Always an enjoyable stay while working in the area.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting or working in the Lakeland area!

We stayed in Canalta St. Paul for a conference, the hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The manager Cindy was amazing in helping me book the rooms and conference space.
The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms and lots of amenities such as a pool with a water slide and a hot tub. There is a fitness room and a games room.
The conference room was spacious and had the necessary equipment to help connect our laptops to the projector.
I would host a conference here again.

My recent extended stay for work at the Canalta St. Paul was excellent. The general manager goes above and beyond to make you feel valued and at home. The rooms & amenities are very clean & comfortable, and all the housekeeping staff are amazing. They always go above and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable.

This canalta location was an excellent experience. The staff was super friendly and the general manager was very helpful with my questions and needs. My family had a wonderful experience staying here. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit.

My sons and I stayed here for our recent baseball provincials. The hotel itself was great for the boys, with a well stocked games room, and a pool with a "super fast" waterslide, as well as complimentary breakfast. For me, it was the customer service. The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to accomodate us, including an unknown schedule that they worked around with us to let us check out late, and one of the ladies offering to throw my sons ball pants in the wash with the towels for free. I will definitely recommend the Canalta to anyone staying in St. Paul. Thank you!

Great spot, well-maintained hotel. Game room is a nice touch--just needs a pinball machine to compliment the Big Buck Hunter and two arcade games. Great choice of Bigelow tea at the breakfast nook!

This hotel is clean, well run and staffed by very friendly accommodating people. Ample parking, breakfast, a pool and an arcade are some of the amenities, plus they are a small walk from the golden arches on the main road. Definitely the best accommodations in St. Paul

This hotel has clean and quite rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has a large selection, and the hot food is constantly being refreshed, you can even have a personalized omelette made for you. For a small town the standards are excellent.

I stayed overnight due to a family function in a nearby community. I have stayed here several times in the past and always had good experiences. It's clean, modern, and has all the amenities I want in a stay (like pool, hot tub, great breakfast & exercise room). However, my latest was the best so far because of excellent customer service. I had already checked out at 11 am and was on my way to take my nephews and nieces to the St. Paul swimming pool, however when we arrived, I found it was closed for the month for reno's. I decided to return to the hotel and asked if we could use the pool and the gentleman at the front desk happily agreed to allow us to use it with no problems at all. When I get great customer service like that, I am happy to share my experience as a gesture of gratitude to the staff person who helped me, and for the benefit of others so they can benefit from this kind of service - thank you Jason!
