Friendly and Helpful Staff

We stayed in Canalta St. Paul for a conference, the hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The manager Cindy was amazing in helping me book the rooms and conference space.

The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms and lots of amenities such as a pool with a water slide and a hot tub. There is a fitness room and a games room.

The conference room was spacious and had the necessary equipment to help connect our laptops to the projector.

I would host a conference here again.

if you and your co-worker had a chance to play in our games room. If not next time give that a try. Pinball is so much fun and a great way to spend the evening have competitions against one another. My stay at Canalta, St Paul

I just wanted to let anyone coming or thinking of coming to stay at the Canalta. Fantastic water slide & pool. Great workout area, along with games room. The best breakfast I have ever had. Everyone is super nice. Rooms are very clean, beds extra comfy. This hotel manager “Cindy” is amazing, treats her staff like gold & it shows. Thankyou everyone

Great customer service and professional staff.

I am grateful to the staff as they try to locate me in the facility so I can park my truck and trailer in sight. They always find a room for me as I seldom am able to book a room due to my travel schedule, but have never been turned away.

This is a pet friendly hotel and they try to always have out side access for the convenience of my travelling companion a little dog.

Room tip: Very clean and tidy hotel.

Usual Excellent Stay and Staff

While we do not typically like staying away from home, the CANALTA in ST PAUL makes this the exception for us -- in our experience, the rooms we occupied during a number of stays were comfortable, being well-laid-out, nicely decorated, clean, and all with an extremely comfortable bed, very important to us for a good night's sleep.
Wonderful Pet-friendly policy makes the stay even better for us as we prefer to bring along our small pure-bred dog. Main floor rooms with parking at the door and access to outdoors for a walk are bonuses. Staff are especially accommodating from taking our reservation, through arrival and check-in and to assisting with any information or needs during our stays.

Pleasantly Surprised

We stayed at the Canalta as we were in town for a funeral. Without knowing anything about the hotel and never being in St. Paul, I was worried we'd be staying at a run down, cheap, trucker, motel. I was completely wrong. The place is very well kept, clean, quiet and the beds/rooms were extremely comfortable. We couldn't have been happier. The pool, waterside and hot tub were great. The included scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and coffee were very good in the morning. I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone.
