I will start by saying I couldn't beat the price for the 3 night stay including New Year's Eve. $122 for 3 nights including taxes/resort fees, but I booked over a year in advance before the price increased. I must say this hotel/casino has the friendliest employees of any hotel i've stayed at in vegas and I've stayed in over 20 hotels in Vegas. They charge a small resort fee of about $8 per night, but they give you a coupon book and they have free parking. We drove from Oklahoma and loved getting a spot so close to the door each night. The rooms are advertised as recently renovated but I feel like they haven't been renovated. The halls also have a bad smoke smell, and the hallway also smelled like marijuana. You can't eat at the restaurant without walking through smoke. The drinks are good and cheap.

We've stayed here many times in the past, but hadn't been here for a few years. The positives are a reasonable price, non smoking rooms, and a friendly staff. The girls that checked us in were very nice and told us if we waited 20 minutes we wouldn't have to pay a new $17 early check in fee. We also like the little perks like spinning the wheel at check in where we won a Mystery Gift (insulated cooler bag), free packs of cookies, a free drink and free points/slot play. The two ladies where we signed up for our cards were very personable and had us laughing. Even the bartender was all smiles when serving us. While we didn't eat here this time, we have in the past and always love their specials. As far as negatives we didn't care for the new $10 resort fee that Vegas motels seem to be charging now. The beds and pillows were hard and there was a lot of road noise throughout the night. While the rooms were smoke free we still picked up a lot of smoke on our clothing from the casino. We do like the location and not having to drive all the way into the strip so I'm sure we'll stay here again at some point.

Don't know if this is the right place to leave this review, but the restaurant in the Longhorn Casino has the best ham and eggs breakfast at a reasonable price. Big, bone-in ham steak, with eggs and ranch potatoes. All beers are $1.50. We went for breakfast, but their menu looked pretty good for lunch and dinner. Very reasonable prices. Hard to beat. One downer is that it is a bit smokey in the casino.

Run down completely, in not a friendly part of the city, dirty, shaby and obscure. The only positive comes from the staff, who tries their best to cover for the place. For the price you pay i would expect at least clean bathroom. I guess they know it is dangerous as there is a written advice on room doors saying „bolt the doors and check id of the visitor before you open the doors”. I did not feel safe. And if you expect warm water to take a shower, you better forget it.

We have stayed here a few times. A few years ago when our house in Las Vegas, flooded we had to find a place/ places to stay for over a month while our house was being cleaned out & remodeled. We stayed here with our dog & our cat. Several other places we had stayed before finally finding vacancies st Longhorn only had vacancies for a day or 2 at a time(wouldn't have wanted to stay longer at some places) . When we finally was able to get reservations for several days at Longhorn we were grateful. Especially after seeing how big the rooms were at Longhorn compared to some of the places we had stayed that were supposed to be high standard places. Some of the hotels/motels were very uncomfortable with 3 adults, a dog & a cat in a room so small it was hard to turn around in.
At Longhorn we were treated with respect. Our animals were welcome to be there & it was much easier to get back to some normalcy of going to work knowing our room, belongings & animals were safe while we were gone. The restaurant had good reasonably priced food. Even now that we are no longer staying at the Longhorn, we still like to go there for a night out in their cozy casino & have dinner at their restaurant. If you're looking for a inexpensive place of off the strip, I would recommend for anyone to stay here when visiting Las Vegas or just for a night away if you do live in Vegas.

We loved everything about this place! I'm so happy I was able to take my grandchildren to Vegas and give them some lifetime memories like my grandparents did for me. It is part of why I chose this hotel. I never could have done this without an affordable place to both stay AND feed my little family of four.

Every single person I interacted with who worked at the Longhorn was incredibly courteous, helpful, and always had a smile on their face. The hotel was clean from the lobby, to the room, to the casino. I just read reviews about the casino smoke being overwhelming, but at the time I was there, I didn't even realize there was smoking inside the casino until I walked through it to get to the restaurant. I also didn't notice the smoke while inside the restaurant, nor did my littles. I was not there on the weekend, so I don't know if that makes a difference, but as a non-smoker, I felt it was very well ventilated.

You cannot beat the prices. Not having to pay for daily parking, being so close to grocery stores, Walmart, McD's, etc. was extremely convenient as well. The daily resort fee of $10/day is about $20-40 cheaper than other resort fees I saw.

The Chuck Wagon Restaurant that is inside the casino was fantastic! Breakfast specials from midnight to 6am were $3.79, and dinner specials were also amazing. I mean, where else can you have steak and lobster for under $20???? The kiddos and I jumped on that deal! Our server for dinner (I believe his name was Shane) was phenomenal, and my kids absolutely adored him! Our morning server was just as friendly and precise, making breakfast another great experience. I will upload the only photos I have from the Chuck Wagon Restaurant, which are the two ham and egg breakfasts I took back to the room. You will see how large those portions are, and oh boy are they big!

If you are looking to save money during your stay in Las Vegas, don't mind being away from the strip, appreciate nostalgia, and want a well kept, clean hotel, I highly recommend giving the Longhorn a try!

Check in was a breeze, the front desk staff was very polite. You get a coupon book for discount food in the restaurant, discount drinks, and free play in the casino. Every room has 2 beds standard. A night stand, Desk, Flat screen TV, and mini freg. There a larger open clothes hanger as well. The AC/Heating unit works great. Heat & cools in a snap. It's very clean, and housekeeping does an excellent job. They service your room daily. The bathroom has a small vanity, toilet & a tub/shower combo. The water is hot and refreshing! Parking is Free at the Longhorn. And no over the top resort fees! Which is Awesome!! The ice machine is located on ground level, along with a few vending machines for snacks. The pool area is closed during the winter months. (It's an outdoor pool) You can find a Walmart, Plant Fitness, KFC, Taco bell, gas stations just down the road. Its about a 15 minutes to the LV strip. The food at the Chuckwagon restaurant is Great! You get good food & large portions! The prices are excellent too. I honestly, LOVED the Longhorn casino. The service, price & convenience will definitely have me coming back!!

This was my first Hotel & Casino experience as an adult and it was very much a disaster. The front desk staff was nice enough, but many other staff members were not wearing masks including the manager. It felt very unsanitary and the smell of cigarettes is everywhere and the dirty public bathrooms did not help. As for my room, I would say that was the best part of the experience, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I thankfully did not find any roaches or bugs like I’ve seen other reviewers say. If not for the room I stayed in I would wonder how this place is even still running.

Pretty gross run down motel. Everywhere smells like cigarette smoke. Lighting outside has loose wiring so it makes a horrible noise all night long and isn’t great on the eyes either. Beds are hard. Bathroom is linoleum probably from the 70s. Would not recommend.

My wife and I came here for the first time to the hotel restaurant. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table and I can understand why . This place is a hidden gem with fantastic food and service . We ordered the steak and lobster meal and we couldn’t believe how nice this was . This place has a great menu , cheap prices , lots to choose from and excellent service from all of the staff . I understand why it’s full of locals . Great place , keep up the great work and we will be back

There is a bus stop right out front of the hotel. The hotel is probably a 10-15 minute drive from the strip. I don’t think there is a shuttle and I’m not sure if the Uber Lyft cost.
