I took my father to the St. Paul Canalta Hotel on June 29, 2020. The hotel room was excellent. The staff member's suggestion that since my dad is elderly she would book us into a room with a couch (in addition to the two queen beds) displayed significant care for us as guests.

Arrived and was greeted very pleasantly. Room looked great, until my husband found a dead bedbug on the pillow in room 205. Thankfully we hadn’t unpacked anything yet.
Was dealt with quickly and they were very kind and apologetic.
I am truly sorry that you found a bug of any kind in your room. We work incredibly hard to provide a clean and safe stay for every guest.
I wanted to let you know that we take any claim of a bed bug very seriously and we immediately called to have the room inspected. The inspector arrived and did a complete examination of the room and found no evidence of bed bugs. Nice hotel. Stayed for volleyball tournament. Very pleasant person at front desk at checkin. Room was very clean and a nice quiet sleep was had despite several teams staying there. Will stay there again!!

Love this hotel, the staff go over and beyond to make sure you are taken care of! It is a great family hotel. With the water slide and kids game room there’s plenty to do with your kids of any age. Also, the complimentary breakfast is pretty darn good!

I’ve been staying here regularly for quite some time. Friendly staff, great value, always a positive experience. Pool and hot tub are always clean and they provide a very good breakfast. The games room is cool too.
