The hotel was very clean , this is the third Fairfield I stayed in in the last two weeks and the of the three the best . The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and pretty quiet and comfortable , the only complaint was the air conditioning/ heater was to cold or to hot and stuffy .. we could not get the system to turn off .. we did report the problem . The breakfast are was clean well stocked just wish the banana were not so ripe. But good choices , bread, bagel , yogurt , waffles oatmeal fresh fruit .eggs hard boiled and scrambled. I would stay again

The whiteness of the shower... you could plainly see it's the cleanest hotel shower you've probably ever had. Nice soft bath mat too. This hotel was quiet and the front desk staff was very efficient. Breakfast was typical Fairfield offerings. Will stay here again!

Very nice hotel for the area. Getting in the parking lot was a little weird, only one way in or out not where intuitively it should be. Trendy fun lobby! Breakfast was good. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and full shower! The bathroom exhaust fan did not work and the ceiling was peeling and cracking from the moisture.

I've stayed at this property many times and had good experiences generally, this time was different. The young lady that checked me in, maybe she was fairly new to the whole thing I don't know, was just pleasant enough. I don't get hung up on rewards status but I wasn't acknowledged as a Titanium Elite member, wasn't offered an upgrade, and wasn't asked if I wanted points or a market item. She just checked me in without a word, gave me my room keys, told me where the elevator was and that was it.
There was no housekeeping at all while I was there so I can't comment on it, but the ladies I ran into in the hallway were cheerful and smiling. The breakfast, I'm sorry, the children's food that was set out in the morning was the biggest disappointment. I stay at a lot of hotels/chains and they ALL have returned to the standard hot serve yourself breakfast. You guys gotta do better. Oh, and stop blaming COVID for everything. Your guests are over it. If you're short on help...just be honest with us...we'll understand.

Older hotel. Not well maintained, but it IS East Grand Forks so you can’t expect much. Bathroom fan didn’t work. Sink drain didn’t drain. Room smelled pretty rank. Housekeeping insisted on making the bed with the tags on the comforter situated to be in my face so every time they made the bed I had to remake it. We tried to be kind and leave large tips. Didn’t help. We had an extended stay because family lived near. In the future will stay across the river in Grand Forks where we had a better experience.

This country is struggling with the covid pandemic. I just returned from 3 weeks in Europe where I was required to wear a face mask anytime indoors and to show my vaccination card at any museum or event. Their covid numbers are low. The hotel staff snd anyone inside the hotel common areas should be masked.

Easy location on the North Dakota side of the river, with a short drive to get downtown - west across the river. Room was comfortable and quiet, with plenty of parking and a hearty breakfast. I liked the lobby immediately upon entry. Can’t go wrong on this one.

Decided to come see my niece play soccer at UND and decided to stay over and use my Marriot reward points. I picked this because it looked newer and didn't realize that it was in East Grand Forks-assumed it was out by the freeway. This ended up being more convenient because the team is currently playing in EGF so was close to the field and a nice new clean hotel. Was concerned I would hear road noise from Hwy 2 but wasn't bad with my fan on. Very comfortable beds and good breakfast-even some fresh fruit! Close to downtown and our favorite Sickies Garage for burgers. Will definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel appeared quite new with good spacious parking spaces around the building. As it was reasonably empty, I parked up front and just with several steps, I was under the big 'canopy' out of the weather walking across to reception. The reception and dining area looked really modern and classy. Reception by Kelsey was friendly, but I did have to wait 10 munutes as she was already on a phone in booking call which went, on and on, for the 10 minutes. Kelsey apologized for my wait. My booking on the Marriot App took less than 1 minute an hour ago! Check in took just 30 seconds. My room on the groundfloor was very, very nice. It felt warm and comfortable immediately Also very quiet as there were few guests in the hotel this evening. It was fully equiped with desk, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The HVAC worked well. The lighting was very good in the bathrom. I also liked the large walk in shower. I was able to swing the door inwards, reach for the towel, close the door and dry myself, staying warm in the shower cubicle. Quality and softness of the towels were excellent. My hotel receipt was in a hanging envelop on the outside door handle, instead of being pushed in under the door. Nice! Breakfast was at the best Fairfield standard and the lady there was continually topping things up. Also, there was a choice of using disposable plates and cutlery or china plates and metal knife and forks. Of course, I opt for the latter. On checking out, I met the General Manager, who is obviously proud of the hotel and his team. He also told me his staff would brush and scrap snow and ice on guests' vehicles after heavy overnight snowfalls- the extra little service that makes excellent hotel stays.

We found the Inn on our way approaching Grand Forks from the east. There was a $80 coupon in our local newspaper. The lobby is huge and gorgeous with a big variety of decoration that blended really well. It includes the breakfast area farther away from Reception. The staff were really very friendly. One thing we did not like was that there was only one chair in the room. We were told next morning that we could have taken one of the chairs from the area next to the breakfast section.
