We weren't expecting much and in that we weren't disappointed. The room was a huge cinderblock but clean. The shower had great pressure and a steam option that felt good. Room service took forever and the food was cold when it came. We only had an overnight there and was glad that's all it was.

Flew into YEG the night before an early morning flight to Mexico, and met friends at the hotel who were traveling with us. The shuttle came quickly to the airport, and the Royal was the first hotel it stopped at. Check in was quick and friendly. I am a Wyndham Reward member, and got a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Room was very comfortable and quiet, with no airport noise. Lobby was huge, and looked to be well setup for conferences. There is a restaurant and a lounge in the hotel. Our friends had dinner in the restaurant and said it was delicious, breakfast was very good, but not complimentary with the stay. The lounge was very nice, with a fireplace and exceptionally friendly service. Shuttle back to the airport took about twenty minutes to get to the airport as it made a couple of stops before dropping us off. Judging by the cars in the lot, the hotel looks like it has a park and fly program as well. I will definitely use this hotel again.

So the beds are the BEST really so comfy. You know what else works the thermostat actually really works and instantly. The towels and bedding always smell fresh. We use our AMA card and get a King bed for 130$ Approximately great deal. The food in restaurant and lobby bar is very good (a bit pricy ) but good.

I stayed in this hotel for business for three nights. Great service, great amenities, friendly and welcoming staff. No issues with internet. We also used conference rooms for an event - amazing place to host a business meeting for 150-200 people

We stayed at this Hotel for a weekend. It is super convenient, lots of free parking and has great restaurants and shopping close by. The Hotel is well maintained and clean. The guest room was spacious, clean and a super comfortable bed. Front desk staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating and it is also "pet friendly" with full service. It had everything we had hoped for. I will highly recommend this Hotel. Truly a great stay and value.

Stayed here for three nights with my wife before moving to the Renaissance at the airport.
We have stayed here many times over the years and it hasn’t disappointed us much.
Great location to the airport and free parking for our rental vehicle. It is well located to shopping in the area.
The service at the hotel is okay but the hotel overall is starting to show its “age”. The beds aren’t that comfortable anymore and the hotel seemed to be deserted at times? There has been lots of growth in the area with many new hotels and I am sure this plays part.
We would probably stay here again if needed just because we are familiar with it and it meets our needs (however the bed this last time was terrible!).

This is the first time I've stayed at the Royal Hotel Edmonton. It's a nice facility. Check-in was prompt, the room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Service in the lounge was excellent, and the food surpassed my expectations. The airport shuttle was one-time and the driver was sweet and helpful.

We rented the venue for a large 300 person event. So many in attendance commented on how much they liked the facility. It was very spacious and clean with lots of parking. Throughout the process Allyssa and Indiana were a huge help. They were very accommodating for our needs such as seating arrangements, and audio /video setup as well. Our event was live streamed on zoom without any hiccups over hotel wi-fi which can be finicky at other venues. We definitely enjoyed using the facility and it contributed to he success of our event. We'll be back again for sure.

My husband and I chose the Royal Hotel for our small intimate wedding in the beginning of April. From the first meeting with Allyssa and her team, they did not disappoint! Everything was FABULOUS and they treated us so well. Food was served hot and on time and it was delicious! They went above and beyond, especially for such a small group! We cannot rave enough and we will take all these memories with us! HIGHLY recommend! Thank you to you ALL!!

Everything was clean,neat. The check in and out girl was friendly,clean,neat, dry professional,very helpful. In the flight deck bar for lunch and supper,the bartender/server was the same. Very friendly,easy to talk to,neat,very professional. Very good at her job. The food,I suggest the wings and the Swiss mushroom burger.

I believe a light in the middle of the 2 beds and I never looked for movies as I had downloaded some to my iPad.

Yes, there is freezer space to accommodate a cooler with frozen goods overnight. When at the hotel simply ask the front desk and they will take care of storing the cooler for you!
