Best place in St, Paul
The reason I come here is the friendly staff and very accommodating for my requests.
Lots of truck parking. Rooms are clean and enjoy the many pillows. Lol. Breakfast is the best I’ve encountered. Even make omelettes sometimes. Keep up the excellent service Cindy and staff.

Great place, friendly staff and very clean.
This is a great place to stay. Very comfortable rooms with a drive up outside door on the first floor. The staff were excellent! So friendly and inviting. The complementary breakfast is the best we have ever had. The pool and hot tub are an added bonus. We will be back.

Convenient and Excellent Staff
I stay here quiet frequently on Mondays for work, must say I love it here! The rooms are nice and clean, comes with fridge, microwave, and coffee nice and convenient. Front desk staff are so polite and courteous and awesome to chat with! Breakfast is lots of choices and very good. Always look forward to staying here when my company puts me up for the night.

Very Dissapointed
We were on a soccer tournament, the hotel was packed as expected. Unfortunately, it appears the hotel was not ready for such an event.
Pool: The pool was not operational.
Ice: there was only 1 operational ice machine for the entire hotel, it got overwhelmed pretty quickly.
Breakfast: they ran out of food both mornings, we had to go down multiple times to check on the refill status. There was no meat or hot food except waffles. We ended up going to McDonalds instead.
Most definitely not what we expected from a Canalta. The Manager did not seem to care very much when we brought the issues to her attention. She offered a $20 discount for the weekend, which is completely pathetic. The tournament had been planned for a long while and the hotel booked solid as well for a long time. So while I understand that things happen, there is no excuses for running out of food. The poor breakfast lady was alone, running like a chicken with her head cut off. We heard from other families who had gotten a hotel in Bonnyville instead, they had extra breakfast and special attention for their soccer guests and kids. We will not stay there again or recommend the hotel to anyone.

Poor Housekeeping
We recently stayed for 3 nights. The front desk staff are wonderful and friendly. The pool area is great and always lots of towels. Both days our beds just had the blankets thrown on and were not made, nor were our wet towels removed. The continental breakfast was good on the Friday: hot item was egg wraps, Saturday the “hot” item was hashbrown patties (and thats it). On Sunday there were no hot items or apple juice and the woman working was clearly annoyed when I asked if they had run out. The weekend breakfast was very disappointing. In addition to cereal and muffins there is always waffles to be made if you want to wait in line for the one waffle maker. For rooms that are $154 plus tax I would expect better housekeeping and actual “hot items” at breakfast if thats what they advertise. The older woman working the front reception/breakfast our last day was fairly grumpy and seemed annoyed by most anything but most of the other staff we encountered were very pleasant.

Nice Place to stay, little noisy
This is a nice hotel, likely the nicest in Town. As such during my visit it was full. I usually ask for a room on the top floor because of noise from above. I did not this time and it cost me. The room above was full of workers coming in at early morning hours which woke me up two nights of the four I was there. Suggest to anyone staying, that they get the top floor room. Room itself was clean and comfortable. The heating and cooling system worked well.
The breakfast was good, the usual cereal, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs.

Great for long stays
Recently renovated, clean, friendly staff. Free breakfast has a really nice selection with a homemade feel. Rooms with the little kitchenettes are great for long stays. Gym is pretty impressive. Pool is a bit heavy on the chlorine but a nice set up including hot tub and slide. My expectations were exceeded.

Great home away from home
This property is well set up for extended stays. it is easy to feel right at home - from the cookies at the front desk, to popcorn in the evening, Wednesday night hospitality, the morning breakfast or the clean fitness room and pool. Great caring staff meets all your needs.
