Stopping at Magnet is definitely a must do if you're in the area. We're a 4th generation family shoe store (founded in 1937) that takes pride in providing great customer service. The kind of small town service that you just don't get from those big chain stores. We carry a huge variety of name brand shoes, clothes, and outerwear. The biggest selection of shoes in the lakeland area.

I always stop at Magnet when I am in St. Paul. I used to live nearby and always shopped there. Now I live 8 hours away and still come back for our family’s footwear and outerwear. Haven’t found a place comparable!

This store was a pleasant surprise. I'm not a shoe whore, I have a pair of Keen sandals, running shoes, flip flops, cowboy boots,and snow boots. I love my Keens! I found Keens here cheaper than what I pd. online thru Massey's mail order catalog ($99.00 USD there & 110.00 CDN here). I'm not sure if that was a one time deal or regular price but I do know the young man was VERY helpful and "Johnny on the spot". We ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes and I will be back for new Keens.
