Neighbourhood: Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

It was the greatest way to end our trip to Barcelona. The show was amazing, such expressive dancers, you could feel what they were expressing with every movement. The food and service was also very nice. If you are looking for a show with a more intimate setting, this is the place to go.

Great performance by everyone. A few friends and I were there for a late showing. And we were all blown away by it.

We have been there together with my husband and were really surprised by the talent of the dancers. Every minute of pure magic! The best flamenco dancers I have ever seen so far.
Thank you a lot!

When I read other opinions it seems to me there talking about a different place. Everyone was very kind, nice food, and the flamenco show was the best, the music and the dancers. I guess we all experience things in a different way. My wife is French and she also liked it and that's is amazing if you know French people ;)

Mega tourist trap: they make you believe they all are sisters and brothers and that the fans for sale are hand-painted by the grand-mother, HA HA HA !
The food was well cooked but super bland and low quality. I was sick the morning after.
The dancers are jaded and some are arrogant. The male dancer's performance was amazing, but hello the despise for the audience.
Save your money, go some other place!

although the performers put a lot of heart into the show and i feel sorry for them, it was out last night in barcelona and it could have been spent otherwise.
We booked the show via our hotel, before i got a chance to read the reviews...big mistake...
we arrived at the place which is in a basement, being greeted by a very friendly man at the entrance, who took us to our table. as we walked in, we realized we were the only ones there (on a wendsday, mid july). i kept hoping for somebody else to arrive but nope... it was reaaaaally awkward. we only booked the show and drink (thank god), as by the time we got home, our stomachs were hurting, we had quite a night from that sangria...
the performers were nice, putting the whole show for us....one of the ladies was really good, she put her heart into it; the older man who was singing was also ok; the other blonde woman looked fed up with and kept rolling her eyes, and the guy playing the guitar didn't really know what he was doing...
to top it all off, mid performance they moved us to another table thinking that the air conditioning vent would fall on us...seriously?
the place looked really old and not in a good way.
again, i am reaally sorry for the performers, as they gave it their best and are talented, but knowing this, i wouldn't go again. they should do some serious renovating and then advertising....

My girlfriend really wanted to go and see flamenco if we go to Spain. I found this place on the internet and book a nightshow for two. It was a good choice. The place was 10 minutes walk from our hotel. The whole thing is organized by one family. The musicians, the dancers, the cook and the waiter are one big family. It was a really nice place. The food was usual, nothing special, less than I expected and a little expensive. But the show was really good, interesting, I wasn't bored for a minute. I couldn't eat because I wanted to see every second. There are also really nice handmade clothes and shoes worth a check.

The place is located in basement. We arrived about 15 mins before show, because my wife booked tickets with two types of the menu so that we have to arrive earlier. The waiter placed us second table from the stage. The kitchen and toilet are located very close to the auditorium so frequently you sniff either food or crap, which actually are the same in this place. From all the menu I couldnot eat anything exept cheese plate, the waiter didn't change cutlery, they offer to drink sangria with glasses for water. The show was boring. We left earlier than half.

We knew that flamenco isn't really big in Barcelona, but thought it might be a fun activity before dinner. Well aside from another couple, we were the only ones in the theater the night we came. W were seated in the front row as if they were expecting a rush of attendees but no one else came. The dancing was fine, the men's costume was a bit on the cheesy side. But it was mostly just awkward... to sit in a totally empty theater...there was no wait staff taking drink orders... we felt pretty trapped.

When it was over, they tried to sell us "handmade fans" -- supposedly made by the troupe owner's mother. I passed... the night was "memorable" enough. Yikes.
