Dined with two local friends and enjoyed a very special dinner. Stuffed artichoke hearts, fresh peas with jamon iberico, and delicate cannoli complemented a delicious filet of fish that came perfectly seasoned. Topped off with a complimentary appertif, it made for a very memorable evening.

This is a true five star restaurant. While at first I didn’t feel they were very friendly, I came to appreciate their understated way of dealing with their clientele.
The star of this show is the chef. This is some of the best food I have had in Spain. And while casual the sophistication of the taste and the preparation was truly remarkable. I started with cannoli filled with pig Trotter. I didn’t know what that was but I trusted the waiter. It was unbelievable. One of the best dishes I have had in Spain.
Then I had a dish I had seen on the Internet which was a combination of langoustine and Branzino. Again it was so subtle, delicate and delicious. I finished my meal off with cream Catalan with homemade ice cream. This was simply a casual and delicious gastronomic experience. In the end I really did enjoy the service and appreciate the fact that they didn’t try to over sell themselves or the restaurant. They didn’t need to.

Can Vallès is everything you want a restaurant to be and more! Chef and owner Agustí and the entire team are truly incredible. The minute we walked in, we immediately felt at home and transported to a place we would love to call our very own neighborhood spot one day. Every single guest knew Agustí, and his warmth permeated throughout the entire restaurant. You could not dream up a more positive ambiance, and that is not by accident. Agustí cares so deeply about the restaurant, its history, his menu, and the overall experience, that it's impossible not to love everything about Can Vallès even before the food arrives.
Then, there's the food, which is exceptional in every way. The complexity of each dish is incredible, and the results are unlike anything else you'll find in Barcelona. Every single dish is worth a conversation. Smoked deer carpaccio, poached egg in Txangurro sauce with caviar, pork foot cannelloni - all insane and perfect. We wish we were still eating the morels in foie cream - unreal! Then there's the goat tartare with mustard ice cream - refreshing, unique, and the perfect savory ending. And of course a perfect, custardy torrijas and flan to finish!
We cannot wait to return and send anyone and everyone we know to visit Agustí and Can Vallès!

This is an excellent restaurant, nicely thought out menu of small and main dishes. We dined here with friends and we were very impressed
The pigs trotter cannoli was delicious as was the chick peas with lobster and the mushroom dish of the day. I had a very tasty Monkfish with seafood sauce as a main
Will definitely be returning soon

An absolutely extraordinary meal. Tremendous food, tremendous service, and an unbelievable value. One of the best meals I have ever had. A must visit if you are in Barcelona.

Can Valles is a classic traditional restaurant.The service is professional but not stiff.
The food is made with a the BEST products.In 1 word WOW!
No tourists to be seen .Says it all.

This restaurant truely suprised me! Not only was the food amazing, but also the wine and the overall experience did by far exceed my expectatinons. The food is the best quality and you also have a great choice of exquisite wines for very resonable prices! This small but cosy restaurant is a go-to from now on for me in Barcelona and if you want to try exceptional quality for a great price, come and enjoy.

We had a business dinner for 8 guests. The experience was superb. The quality of the food, wine and service was exemplary. I've eaten in many restaurants here in Spain and around the globe but this one come very close to the top 10. All of the dishes were cooked to perfection. The owner even suggested a fabulous mix of para picars. The whole bill, including 3 bottles of tasty wine, starters, main course, dessert and coffees, only came to €50/person. Brilliant value. We will be back....

We have been there for dinner. The food is delicious, they offered us plates to share between us very refined and delicate.

My wife and I had another wonderful dining experience at Can Valles. The service is very good and the food is always spectacularly delicious. We very highly recommend the pig’s trotters canelloni appetizer (order two) and the beef medallions entree. We will be back every time we are in Barcelona!!!
