I love tiki culture and tiki bars, but this place left me a bit disappointed. The decor is great and the atmosphere is welcoming and lively. The drinks menu has a great selection, but I just felt they tasted a bit syrupy - not the complex and balanced drinks I expect from a good tiki bar. I'm sure they're crowd pleasers for the party crowd - who may not have experienced a true tiki bar before and love the novelty mugs, long straws and occasional flaming drink - but they weren't quite what I was hoping for.
I also like to collect souvenir tiki mugs, but the two branded mugs here were unremarkable designs and on offer for EUR35, which is way over-priced.
I love the fact that Barcelona has a long-standing tiki bar and I hope they keep going strong. I just wish the drinks were the equivalent of some of the excellent craft cocktails we have enjoyed elsewhere in the city.

My friends and I were staying in Barcelona overnight to make our cruise the next day; we stumbled on this hidden gem not far from our hotel and OMG we had a BLAST!! The service was great. The staff was friendly and the drinks were amazing. We did not have food , no other than the popcorn which was good .I definitely recommend this place for a late night cap. Fun and safe.

This is an amazing bar!!! Visited with my girlfriend and had the best time:-) really would recommend for anyone to come here! Cheap and great drinks for anyone and really nice staff!

This really is a great place with knowledgeable staff who make great drinks. They really pay attention to details when making the drinks. One of my favorites cocktails is Coco Pae-pae. I also like The Kahala because they have bartenders (as Nico) who have the knowledge and skill to make drinks that aren't on the menu.

The vibe is very 90’s latino but also modern music alongside with the mos delicious cocktails ! The service is fast and also very careful staff ! Will comeback for sure 👌🏻

This bar is one of my favorites in Barcelona. Friendly servers, chill vibe, not too crowded or loud early in the evening, and the drinks are fantastic. I love all the different vessels they use for serving, and I had fun trying one that held fire in the middle. My husband doesn’t drink, but even he was impressed with the mocktail list.

We love Tiki bars and this one rates as part of our top two (second to the Mai-Kai in Fort Lauderdale) that we have visited. The bar has been in business 47 years!!! It has quite an assortment of great mugs that the tiki mug collector can peruse! We bought two. The drinks are perfection!!! The hubby and I had the mai tais and my daughter had several non-alcohol drinks that she loved.
The atmosphere and ambiance are pure tiki as my photos will show. Worth a taxi ride from wherever you are staying in Barcelona. Go have an exotic drink at the Kahala!!!

A bit dark and could play some hawaiian or surfer music...but still the cocktails were lovely. We went with the girls and they had some alcohool-free mojitos, which were just awesome. A bit pricy but worth it.
