Martin was awesome, his knowledge about the places in Bacelona and particular histories of each place made me feel like if i rewind in the time. Also and more important thing, his good energy, charm and vibes made us feel like talking with a close friend. With out doubt i will pick him up for my next adventure! :D

We booked Free Tour of Barcelona on Fri 29 Oct approx. 11 hours earlier (around midnight) and arrived to Pla de la Seu on time on the same day. What we found was nothing but random tourist groups walking by. No guides, no blue t-shirts, no umbrellas that we were seeking. We tried to call to the phone number in the confirmation e-mail, but the number couldn't be reached. So a huge disappointment. We would have expected, that if the tour would be canceled, the provider would have called us, as they had all the necessary contact info. It would have been easier to accept the cancelation if we would have known something about it. Just a no-show is totally unacceptable. There we stood and didn't know if we should be mad, angry, sad or what. The most question was just how we are going to spend our day when the plan is destroyed. Luckily I remembered another tour provider from my Google search last night. So a quick plan B was made, a new tour with another company booked and the problem solved. Great time we had then!

It was an awesome tour with Angie as I understand all the history behind places that I usually just look, and heard really god stories. She sowed us lots of restaurants and bars to go as well.

My boyfriend, who is American, and I (local) decided to take this tour to learn more about the history of the city and it was totally worth it. Angie, our tour guide, had lots of knowledge in the history facts and took us to visit some places and corners from the city that I have never visited even tough I was raised in the city. We totally recommend this tour!

Today I had the pleasure to attend a Freetour walk around the Gothic quarter in Barcelona. I received several recommendations about the it and I didn’t hesitate too long to check it out.
We met Angie on a very spectacular meeting point, Catedral de Barcelona, where she took a great initiative and lead the walk. She was very knowledgeable and with her fantastic approach I manage to dive through several historical events and understand the great importance of the magnificent architecture.
Those were the best spent hours getting to know the beauty of Barcelona and I highly recommend it to everyone looking for new experience and well spend time in Barcelona.

Another tip, make sure to purchase tickets for sagrada familia in advance!!! They sell out! I recommend also doing one of the tours, either audio or a tour guide. It’s definitely worth it to book one or the other :)

Yeah, as Yurko said is depending on how satisfied you felt. Usually people tip an average between 5 to 10 euros. But everything is up to you, if you feel like more or less is what you will tip.

El tour es gratuito, pero los guías viven de las propinas. Y son muy buenos, se ganan sobradamente la propina que quieras dejarles. Te hacen disfrutar del tour y responden a cualquier duda que pueda surgir.
